sitting up.
"I have a date with Kristine."
    "Oh. "
"Bye," he said then leaned to kiss me, but I looked away making him kiss my cheek.
"Bye," I replied coldly then got up and got my robe.
"Don't be like that," he said as he followed me downstairs.
"Whatever, have a fun time with Kristine." I said as I pushed him out, then closed and locked the door. Alone again.
"Great," I said sarcastically at no one , then went up stairs to take another shower.

Chapter 14
    Anastasia
I was eating chips in front of the T.V. when my phone rang. I sigh, where did I put my phone? Great now I have to get up! I reluctantly got up and looked all around the room.
"Aha! There you are!" I said when I found it. Oh my gosh , it's Angel! Yay! I cleared my throat.
    "Hello? "
    "Hey Anastasia, it's Angel."
    "Hey."
"I need to tell you something."
    "Okay?"
"Can I pick you up , so we can talk? We could go for ice cream?"
    "S ure."
"Great , be there in 10 minutes."
"Great," I said then hung up. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth , making sure that I had no chip residue on my face. I heard the doorbell. As I walked towards the door I caught a glimpse of my reflection- sweats and hair in a ponytail- not the best look, but it was okay. I opened the door to see Angel looking like a dark prince in his all black clothes leaning against the doorframe. My stomach did some serious flips.
    "Hey," I said smiling.
"Hi," he said then kissed my cheek. Eep! We are getting somewhere!
We walked toward his car and he opened my door.
"Wow, such a gentleman," I teased.
"Yeah , well, I'm not just good looking." He said with a bad boy smirk, that I just realized he had. I slowly sat down. I was still very sore. He walked around and got in.
"I haven't seen you in a while." Angel told me as he started the car.
I looked down, "yeah, I have been spending a lot of time with my family. My sisters and I barely get to see our dad, so when we get the chance there is nothing that's more important to us."
"Not that you're not important, you are." I added quickly, after I realized what I had said. "It's just that I don't know the next time I'll see him, or if there's going to be a next time. None of us do, so when we have the chance we take it. No matter what."
He smiled at me. Not his bad boy grin, but a sincere smile.
    "I understand."
"So, what's been going on with you?"
    "I saw something very disturbing."
    "Really what?"
"I'll tell you in a minute."
We went to a cute Ice cream restaurant and sat down in a booth at the back. I noticed that we were sitting really close to each other. Boy did he smell delicious. I wonder if I smell as good to him as he does to me? I didn't think about that very long since the waitress came and interrupted my train of thought.
    "Are y'all ready to order?"
"Yes, I would like a vanilla milk shake please."
"And I would like Ice cream in a cup and a can of coke."
"What type of ice cream?" She asked in her southern accent. You don't hear that accent around here much. It's very charming.
    "Chocolate."
"Coming right up," she said as she wrote down our order and left.
I looked at Angel. "So, what's up?"
"What I'm about to tell you, you can't tell anyone. Not even your diary."
"Wow this is going to be bad," I said with a grin.
"I mean it Anastasia, no one."
"Angel, I won't tell anyone. I promise." We both stopped talking when the waitress came.
She gave us our ice creams. "If y'all need anything just call." She said before she left.
Once she left Angel opened his can of coke and poured it into his ice cream.
" Gross, you do that?" I said making a face.
    "Yeah ever tried it?"
I shook my head. "It looks so gross."
He stuck his spoon in and offered it to me. I shook my head like a stubborn little kid that doesn't want to eat her vegetables.
"Come on, don't knock it till you try it."
I rolled my eyes. "Fine." I opened my mouth and let him feed me the ice cream.
"Okay, it's okay," I said. He laughed then
