way could she think with him staring at her that way and Lowell’s fingers working their way back and forth from her pussy entrance to her anus. She thrust her hips forward, trying desperately to get his fingers inside her. She didn’t give a damn which hole they sank into.
“Three stars.” Zane actually looked heartbroken, and she knew, maybe they hadn’t known one another for long and maybe tonight was their first time being together face-to-face, but the feelings that had developed between them were real and they weren’t one sided.
Lowell’s fingers had stilled on the sensitive patch of flesh between her two openings. He seemed to realize she and Zane needed this moment. She dared to release her death grip on the table with one hand so she could flatten that palm on Zane’s cheek.
“You can advance that to five stars if you make me come.”
Relief moved through his handsome face so fast she nearly laughed before she caught herself.
He grinned. “You are determined, aren’t you?”
“Damn right, I am. I was under the impression if I came out of my room that’s what I would get. Instead, the two of you seem content to torment the shit out of me.”
“Not torment, darlin’.” Lowell dragged his fingers up her slit, delved two into her pussy in a single thrust that drove them in to his third knuckle, and pulled them free.
Danica cried out as a rapid intensely sensational bliss zinged through her, then chomped down on her tongue so hard it hurt just before the night’s bad word crossed her lips.
No! Damn it, don’t stop. Please.
She needed more. She needed deeper. She needed a cock, his cock buried inside her to the hilt.
“Just drawin’ out the anticipation,” Lowell finished as he pulled his fingers free. He dragged them, now covered in her juices, up her belly and abdomen, spreading her cream over her flesh.
Just drawing out the anticipation. Lowell’s words played like a mantra in her head, stirring something. Then it hit her. Dominant Passion . She had written a scene almost exactly like this in her latest book. The characters hadn’t been eating, at least not food, but the setting was the same, and they had worked her into a similar position as her heroine.
Danica lifted her head and pinned Lowell with a narrow-eyed glare. “You read it?”
The smile that unfolded on his lips was so sexy and devilish it sent her spiraling one step closer to release. “I’ve read all of ’em. Everything you’ve written from the beginning. My favorite was Island Insanity .”
That had been her second published novel, the one she had written not long after he had left, and her best seller to date. The plot was hardcore BDSM, two dominant FBI heroes and a submissive heroine who ended up stranded on an island where they learned to overcome a mountain of hatred and distrust to be together.
Danica barked a laugh. “I bet it was.”
“Do you remember what happened next in Dominant Passion ?” Zane’s hand on her nape slowly slid away as he spoke, and he started to move.
“You read it, too?” Danica followed him with her gaze, rolling her head and finally tipping it back when he walked behind her so she didn’t lose sight of him.
    “I did. Do you remember?”
“Of course I do. I wrote it.” Still, she had to rewind the plot in her mind. The ending of the novel was the freshest in her memory, and that particular scene had occurred barely a quarter of the way into the book.
Her memory latched onto the scene, and she waggled her brows, smiling in triumph. “Veronica got to come.”
    Both men laughed.
“Yeah, she did.” Zane reached for her hands as Lowell snaked an arm around her and eased her to lie back on the table. “Do you remember how?”
The agonizing details came to her, excruciating because, yes, she remembered exactly how. It had been a buildup scene, one where her heroes had made her heroine come, but not in the way Danica needed right now.
    “Damn,” she breathed as Zane
