kept running.  I almost tripped on a pole.  Since I slowed down, I picked it up and threw it toward the car down the road.  I started running again not sure of exactly who was following me, but I didn’t care at this moment.  All that mattered to me, was getting away from that area.
Looking ahead, the street was blocked off by a group of zombies coming down the

road.  Then, I heard the sound of a truck. I saw headlights.  Who is that? I wondered.
Then, the truck ran over the zombies, and kept on driving down the road.  They must be headed to the highway.
I turned my head and saw some heads in the back of that truck as it drove away.  “What in the world?” I mumbled to myself.  Then I saw the zombies still coming this way. I quickly turned around.  I was going to follow that truck.  I passed Aoi a nd Paige, who we’re behind me.  They turned around and kept running too.

My legs were getting tired so, I slowed down a bit and jogged.  I passed everyone else and they quickly turned around too. I sighed.

    Chapter 5: Um, Hello?

After a while of running, I stopped right behind the stopped truck  and began breathing hard as I moved slowly towards the driver’s side door while shivering.  I pushed my body too hard.  I only get this shaky feeling when I push my body too hard.

I began to laugh, lightly, for no particular reason.  I felt a hand grab my shoulder.  I shivered, and my laughing slowly faded to a faint cry.  I turned my head.  It was Aoi.  I pressed my hand against my heart.  I started giving off sighs of relief.  I started laughing lightly again.
    “Whats so funny?” Paige whispered.
I gestured my hand into the air to signal her not to care.  Then, a hand hit me in the back of the head.

“Kaelor” Kaelinda quietly screamed.  I quickly straightened myself off the car and stood up infront of everybody.  I knocked on the car door. I saw all of the moving bodies in the car freeze.  I saw a few mouths move.  A few moments later, I saw a very handsome boy look out of the window.
He said something that I couldn’t hear, then a girl moved next to him and opened the door.
A caramel skinned girl with black hair, and a little bit of brown highlights streaming from the roots of her head, to the

split ends of her hair opened the door.  I think I’ve seen her before.
I had a best friend who looked somewhat the same as her.  Plus, she also looked like the girl at the school gate.
We stared at each other for a split second, until I broke the silence and said “Finally, we had been waiting for someone to open the door.
“Hi my name is Kaelor.  I turned around and pointed to Paige and everyone else behind me as I introduced them saying,

“This is Paige, Kaelinda, Edmund, Aoi, and Hana-yon.  You can just call us the beat yo’ butt up crew.”
She laughed and said “beat yo’ butt up crew?  That name is hilarious!”
I made a face at her, so did everyone else.
She replied, “Sorry, I just really needed that laugh.”
Paige looked at the girl and said “You must go to our school.  I can tell by the clothes you’re wearing.

It has been one day since chaos has started, and you still have not change your clothes.  Correction, all of you haven’t changed your clothes.  Shameful.” Paige said.
“Hey we can’t help it if we don’t have any clothes to change into… or do we?  Plus, you didn’t either” the girl said.
Some girl interrupted and said “Actually, we do have clothes but we just haven’t changed yet.”

I interrupted and said “Can we get in please; I’m getting eaten up by mosquitos.”
They moved to let us in.
We all piled in but, we had to wait a while for the person driving to wake up.
    ***

We drove for a while.  I sat there, looking up.  I happened to hear some of the stuff they were talking about, but I paid it no mind.  Then the truck
