inside her.
Jennie ’s colleagues stood staring at the disappearing limousine.
“Did you see who that was in the limo?”
    “No, did you?”
“No, nor me . You can’t see anything through those black tinted windows.”
“Well, whoever he is, he’ s got lots of money…”
“We knew that upstairs, when he sent her the orchid in the Ming vase.”
    Mick held Jennie tightly.
    “Bad day, darling?”
“Bad two days, Jennie. Charles, the director is furious with me. Deana, the actress who plays Emma , is furious with me. Nothing went right with filming that bloody love scene. Nothing. It should have taken a hour at the most, instead, we wasted two days on it.  I don’t even want to mention work all weekend.”
“Then we won’t, Mick, baby, we won’t.”  Jennie unzipped Mick’s trousers, and lowered her head, and made him forget about everything but the pleasure he was receiving from her wonderful lips and her treacherous tongue. Oh how he loved her treacherous tongue…he loved it all the way to Berkshire.
They didn’t leave Mick’s estate until Monday morning. They walked a little in the garden, but mostly they stayed in his private suite, that charming little sitting room and massive bedroom with the big fireplace that had the white fur rug in front of it, and soaked every evening in the massive tub in the luxurious bathroom. Mornings they showered, but on the weekend, in the evening, they played in the tub.
“I may put a swimming pool in, darling,” Mick told her. “With underwater lighting, so that I can watch you in the pool.”

    SIX

Monday morning Mick kissed her deeply as he got out of the limo at the studio. “I’ll see you in a couple of hours, my darling.”
“Did you ask for me to come with the reporter, Mick?”
“I’m afraid I did, Jennie.  I need you there this morning. Do you mind?”
“No, Mick. You know that I never mind doing what you want. It will be fun, watching you film.”
She was at her desk by seven, and had edited two short articles by nine, when the staff came to work. Every one of the thirty three employees came by to say good morning.
Susie plopped down in the seat opposite Jennie’s desk.
“Everybody wants to know who picked you up on Friday night.”  Susie ’s tone demanded an answer.
Jennie smiled at her, “And good morning to you as well, Susie.”
    “Who?”
    “Didn’t any one see?”
“Gloria says all they could see was the limo, the chauffeur, you getting into the car, and somebody taking you into his arms and kissing you. The windows were tinted too darkly to see him.”
“Ah…well, that’ s all you need to know, isn’t it?  My lover has a chauffeur and a limousine and he picked me up Friday at five and took me to his house in Berkshire…”
“I thought your friend with the house in Berkshire was a woman, Lucy?”
Jennie laughed.  “I have more than one friend in Berkshire, Susie.”
Susie changed the subject.  “Geoffrey ’s P.A. says that you met Michael Gerrard at a dinner in Berkshire and that’s why we’ve got this exclusive interview on the film set today.”
“Ah, yes… one of the actors was at the dinner with us.”  Susie immediately assumed that the mystery lover had been with Jennie when she met Michael Gerrard.
“What time do you have to be on the set?”
    “Ten.”
“You aren’ t very dressed up, are you?” Susie remarked. “If it were me going to the Avengers set, I’d be dolled up to the nines. I mean, your leather skirt is alright, and that is a nice blazer, I suppose, but I‘d be wearing that black pants suit you have if it were me, showing off my bum.”
“Why?  The focus isn’ t on me, Susie.  It’s on the people we are going to interview.”
Susie shrugged her shoulders and got up.  She wasn ’t getting anywhere with Jennie, getting absolutely no information. She stood at the doorway, about to speak again when Jennie’s mobile rang,
    “ Jennie
