here…hello, darling.…yes, it was one of the most enjoyable weekends I ever spent as well, darling…yes, I’m looking forward to seeing you shortly as well…ah…ah…no, I’m not alone, sexy beast, there’s someone in my office…thank you sweetheart.”  Jennie hung up with a dreamy expression on her face, a glow in her eyes.
“Oh, so your lover is someone to do with the film?” Susie surmised.”A producer, perhaps, and that’s why Michael Gerrard was at your dinner…”
She didn ’t wait for an answer, but rushed off to share her somewhat erroneous conclusions.
    Jennie sat at her desk.
Michael Gerrard. Mick Gerhardt or Gerald. Or Gerrard.
The estate, the limousine, the deferential way the director had spoken to him on the telephone, the way he was sure the press would be a problem. The way they’d been the centre of attention at the restaurant. The way he always hurried her through the library, so she never got a chance to look at all those awards…
He had been a leading man for twenty years. Really.
    She rang his mobile.
    “Yes, darling?”
“You’re Michael Gerrard, aren’t you? My face is burning with embarrassment, I feel such a fool…”
“Don’t, baby. I did my very best to keep it from you…”
    “Why?”
“Because you’re the first woman for so many years who’s come to my bed because of lust, not because of what I can do for you, babydoll. And I love it. You aren’t going to leave me because of it, are you? Because I didn’t tell you who I am?  You aren’t mad at me are you?” Mick sounded anxious.
In spite of herself, Jennie smiled. “No, of course not. I just feel very stupid.”
“No, baby, no. Listen, I have to go, they’re ready to shoot…please don’t be upset with me, Jennie.”
Jennie sat another minute or two. Mick sounded very worried that she would be upset with him. She’d better make certain he knew she wasn’t. Sh e went to the Ladies’ and took her panties off.
The taxi picked up Jennie, Rachel the reporter, and Jerome the photographer at half past nine.  They glided past the studio gates when the driver identified the passengers as being from “ Women of Britain ” magazine.  The guard had directed the drive to go to Studio 3, and they were soon outside a large building with Studio 3 painted in large letters on the side.  Jennie, Rachel and Jerome went through the door.  An attractive young woman was waiting for them,
“ Hello, I’m Pasty, from P.R. Follow me. They’re trying to wrap a nude scene, having quite a bit of difficulty getting the right expressions for some reason. Nude shoots are closed sets, but you three have been authorized. Highly unusual for outsiders to be allowed on nude sets.  Very quiet now.  I’ll take you to your seats.  Not a word until the director comes over to you…and you can’t take any photographs until we authorize you to.”
She led them to three canvas seats lined up beside the director. Rachel grabbed the seat closest to the great man, Jerome sat in the middle, and Jennie, smiling, pulled the third seat back, so that she was a couple of feet behind the others. She sat, and watched Mick on the set. He and a naked young actress were positioned on a bed. Mick was lolling against the headboard, the actress was lying in front of him, her body hiding Mick’s cock. Just as he’d told Jennie the script said, so the camera could get a full shot of the naked Emma , the beautiful, sexy Emma .
Jennie’s eyes clouded. The reality of seeing Mick naked with a sexy young actress was as awful as she’d imagined it would be.
There was a camera on a boom positioned above the headboard and another one in front of the sound stage.
Rachel’s eyes were shining.  She was looking at Michael Gerrard, nude.
Jerome ’s eyes were shining. He was looking at Deana Duke, the female lead, nude.
Jennie ’s eyes were anything but shining.
She was looking at her lover, naked on a bed with such a beautiful
