tomorrow...”
“What is it?” I asked, turning to him and wrapping my arms around him. He gave me a long, soft kiss, and then whispered to me once more.
“The other reason I want you to stay with my mother is because Sergei is going to try to kill you.”

Chapter VI

I felt Peter’s hand on my shoulder through my dreams as he gently shook me awake. I groaned and opened my eyes, and as my brain reconnected to the real world, I realized that he was lying in bed with me. I felt his body close to mine, warm and inviting against the cold night air. I snuggled up against him, still half-asleep as he put his arms around me, and I sighed contentedly at his touch. His arms were so tightly wrapped around me that I could barely breathe, but it somehow still felt perfect to me.
He held me close as we lay together and he whispered in my ear.
    “I want you,” he whispered.
My mind woke up instantly at the sound of his voice in my ear. A tingle ran down my spine as his warm breath tickled my skin and made me squirm delightfully. God, I loved it when he got excited. It had only been a few hours at most—I’d lost track of time in my sleep—since we last parted, and he was ready to take me again already? He certainly had no shortage of stamina.
“Do you now?” I whispered back, and I snuggled up against him. I felt his smooth, bare chest against my back, warm and strong, as if he was containing me. Maybe he was protecting me. From what? I didn’t know and I didn’t care. All I cared about right now was his soft touch and his strong embrace.
He loosened his grip around me and caressed my cheek. This was perfect. This was how my life should be… laying in bed with him, finally breaking through the wall that separated us and getting the real Peter to come through to me. I could lay here forever and ever in his arms, feeling loved and not just wanted . There was a huge difference, and as much as his passions turned me on, laying here with him like this was something special to me.
“Desperately,” he growled. “I want to take you, to make love to you in a way you’ve never experienced before. Most importantly, I want you to let me. Will you?”
“Will I what? What are you hoping my answer is?” I asked coyly.
“I want you to give yourself to me right now, let me have my way with you, and let me blow your mind,” he half whispered, half growled in my ear. I nearly broke into a sweat at his words, and I took in a sharp breath as my heart started to pound excitedly in my chest. His voice was such a turn-on! Jesus Christ, it was as if he was speaking directly to my inner-most desires.
“Is that your fantasy? You want me to submit to you entirely, to let you have your way with me?” I purred, and I pressed myself back against him. I could feel him through his tight black boxer briefs, and I knew he was ready and waiting for me.
“My deepest, darkest fantasy,” he whispered back.
I snuggled up against him again and felt his hot breath against my neck as he kissed me and ran a hand slowly up my leg. The soft fabric of my long, flannel pajama pants just barely dulled the sensation of his palm against my hip and his fingertips flitting along the edge of my underwear. If only his hand could have been an inch further up my leg! I’d probably have pounced upon him right then and there.
“Get out of bed and follow me,” he whispered into my ear, his voice nearly dripping with desire, and then he released me and climbed out from beneath the warm blankets.
I didn’t care what time it was; it could be five in the morning and I wasn’t going to refuse now that he’d gotten me riled up. Why did it take so little for Peter to break down my defenses and get me so excited? It was as if every move he made, every touch of his hands and every whisper in my ear was enough tailor-made to drive me wild.
I climbed up out of bed, took his hand, and followed quietly behind him out of my bedroom. The house was silent and the
