But I want a rain check, Mr. Frazier, perhaps for dinner.”
    “ Me thinks
that’s a better plan, my lady. I seriously doubt we’d gain entrance like this.”
He smiled broadly, his accent thicker and sexier.
    Entering the apartment, we removed
all of our rain-soaked clothes. I took the two bags of groceries, with Max’s
assistance, into the kitchen.
    “Come on,” he said, taking my hand,
“hot shower first, food second. We’re both freezing cold from being wet so
long.”
    Once under the steaming water, we
lathered each other with the richly-scented lavender soap that was my favorite.
Max took me in his arms, his mouth commanding over mine as his palms slid down
my body.
    He grabbed both my butt cheeks in
his hands and squeezed. I moaned from under our kiss. Finding my anus, he
gently inserted a finger up to his first knuckle. Panicked by the unknown, I
jerked. Pulling his mouth away, Max whispered, “ It’s all
right darling, relax. You’ve never shared yourself this way with a man before?”
    “No,
never.” I replied, holding onto him tighter as he slowly continued
his quest. Again, I lurched at the unfamiliar feeling.
    “I would love to share the
experience with you, my love, but we’ll take it slow, and I won’t do anything
you don’t want me to do.” Carefully, he withdrew his digit from the tight
enclosure. “We can do this another time. Right now, I’m famished, and I know
you are as well.” He leaned down and captured my lips once again before turning
off the water.
    Sitting at the mahogany dining room
table, I was deep in thought as Max placed a glass of white wine before me. “What
are you thinking about, love? I know that look. Your mind is spinning in a
thousand different directions.”
    “Nothing really, just that I need to
call Papa. We’re going to have to make time to go visit him while we’re in
town. I can’t tell him something like this over the phone.” I took a sip and
looked directly at him. “I thought I’d call him when we finish here. He and my
mother are at their place in the Hamptons. We could go out there, see them this
week, and get this dreadful news over with. You will come with me, won’t you?”
    “Of course I’ll come with you.
Perhaps we could introduce your parents to our relationship as well. Unless, of
course, you don’t think that’s a good idea.”
    “That was part of my reason for
wanting you with me.” I reached over and squeezed his hand. “I know they’re
going to love you, especially when they see how happy you make me.”
    Retiring to the living room, I made
the phone call to my father. After a bit of father-daughter banter, I told him
I was in town for most of the week, albeit with a busy schedule. He suggested
lunch the following day. Max nodded his head in agreement, and I accepted the
invitation.
    “There’s someone I want you and
Mother to meet Papa, someone very special.”
    “I take it he’s the reason for your
recent trip to the ranch? We look forward to meeting him, cheri . I’ll
send a car to pick you up.”
    Walking over to Max, I sat in his
lap and put my arms around his neck. Kissing him on the cheek, I settled myself
in his embrace. “Max?”
    “What, my love?” He had his arms
around my middle, one hand rubbing my back.
    “I need you to make love to me.”
    “Come, I think I can take care of
that.” He helped me out of the chair, taking me by the hand and leading me to
the bedroom.
    We each undressed ourselves and slid
between the sheets. Max leaned over me as he kissed
me, slowly at first, then passionately taking command. He threw the covers to
the end of the bed then touched me gently. Leisurely, he explored my body,
running his fingers toward my sex.
    “Angel, you’re already wet.” I
