scene make him horny?
"How was your nap?" Sherry asked, looking up from the counter when she noticed him.
“It was good, but now that I’ve smelled your cooking I’m starving.” She set the plates down on the table and he sat. “I had no idea you could cook Italian.”
"There are a lot of things you don't know about me," Sherry pointed out as she sat down across from him and picked up her fork so that she could start eating.
"Why don't you tell me more?"
Sherry sighed and set her fork down. "Roberto we both know this is a casual thing. Let's just enjoy our dinner, and not complicate things by getting too personal."
He knew it was casual—damn it, they were both working hard to keep it that way—but he felt that there could be more if she was willing to open up. He dropped the subject, and they ate in silence, both lost in thought about just what the hell they were doing and where their relationship was going.
Sherry studied him from her side of the table, not knowing what to say to him—she felt as though she’d put her foot in her mouth. Her plan was to have dinner and then make love, but she knew she fucked that up; she’d ruined the romantic atmosphere she’d been building.
Roberto kept his eyes on his food even though he could feel Sherry’s gaze on the top of his head. He didn't understand why he felt hurt. After all, she was just supposed to be a distraction until Simone came back to him. He should be glad that she wanted to keep things casual. Usually it was the other way around, with the woman begging him to stay while he shrugged her off. For the first time he understood what those other women had gone through when he turned his back on them, and wondered how they could stand it.
“Thanks for the meal,” he told her, then got up and put his dishes in the sink. “I’ll see you tomorrow at work.”
He kissed the top of her head and walked out. Sherry waited until the door clicked shut before she let the tears fall.

The next morning, Sherry threw herself into work. She came into the office prepared with her training materials, gathered the employees together, and covered an astonishing amount of material with them in the two-hour training session. What was more, it looked like they actually understood what she was trying to teach them. They ended at noon for lunch, and she strode back to her office, pride swelling in her heart—for the first time since arriving in Paris she felt like she’d actually accomplished something.
Back in her office, she slumped in her chair, kicked off her heels and propped her feet on the desk. Smiling, she stared out the window and took a moment to daydream. It was a beautiful, cloudless day, and she could hear birds singing while sunlight streamed through the glass pane and warmed her face.
“Oh, I love summer,” she sighed to herself, her thoughts turning to the past. Toronto summers were wonderful—not too hot, and there had always been plenty of things to do with Nick. She cringed at the thought of her husband, and her mind turned away, back to yesterday when Roberto had kissed her, then left her for the first time without having sex. Perhaps it was for the best that they started to distance themselves from each other. She had a husband, and he… well, it was just impossible. They were two different people from two different worlds, never mind countries!

Her business line rang, jerking her out of her thoughts, and she answered quickly.
"Bonjour, Sherry,” Monique’s voice came onto the line. “I’m just calling to let you know that you have a meeting with Mr. Zanetto at 1 P.M."
"I do?" Sherry asked, startled. She didn’t remember setting up any meeting.
"Yes. It’s very last minute, and he apologizes, but he says it’s very important.”
Sherry glanced at the clock. Last minute indeed—it was 12:45! "Thanks for telling me. I’ll be right over.”
She took a few minutes to dig out her compact and freshen up, then headed over to
