    “Truthfully I think both would be equally enjoyable,” Patrick said deadpan. Jacob worried that he’d offended the man, until Patrick’s lips curled into a small smile.
    “You are such a dick,” Jacob breathed out. He felt his own lips curl into a smile and shook his head. The past two months living with Patrick had been, dare he say, enjoyable. The vampire had a dry wit that made Jacob laugh and his calm countenance was making Jacob rethink some of the stereotypes he’d always held about vampires. Not once in the past two months did Jacob see Patrick consume human blood, from the source or otherwise.     “I fail to see how me having a dick is a bad thing.”
