    Karl wrapped his arm around Laurel protectively as he looked over his shoulders to the bodyguard. “He can follow.”

Grant was supposed to be his end all-be all yet he was willing to protect Laurel.     Karl led them off to a private room, away from the underground comfy lounge area.
