Sienna’s gasp of pleasure was all he needed… pumping faster and harder he drove both of them over the edge. As Sienna’s climax broke over her, Logan thrust into her one last time, shouting her name with his release.
Lying back on the sofa, Logan pulled Sienna down on top of him. Still joined, he felt Sienna’s muscles clench down on his dick, holding him in place. Smiling into her hair, he hugged her close. She was by far the most amazing woman he’d ever been with.

                                                    Chapter Eight

       A month later

Sienna nervously paced her bedroom, glancing nervously at the bathroom door. It wasn’t the bathroom itself that her nervous, but what was in the bathroom. She’d realized that morning that her period was over a week late.
She’d been seeing Logan seriously for a month. Their engagement was still pretend, but their time together was special. Or at least it was special to her. She wasn’t entirely sure how Logan felt about any of it. All she knew was that having sex like bunnies and not using a condom was probably not the smartest thing she’d ever done. In her defense, Logan was just too irresistible for his own good. Every time the man was around, she forgot how to think.
Looking at her bedside clock, she realized it was truth time. Bracing herself, she walked into the bathroom and glanced at the little stick on the counter. Two blue lines stared back at her, taunting her, mocking her… Yep, no doubt about it, Sienna Blake was pregnant.
Slumping to the floor, she cradled her head in her hands and groaned. What was she going to do? She couldn’t raise a baby on her own! And what would Logan think? He’d surely go running, screaming, as far from her as possible the moment he found out.
On the bright side, that slightly nauseous feeling she’d been having was now explained. And here she’d been worried that someone had given her a stomach bug! Oh they’d given her a bug alright, just one of the permanent variety.
Getting to her feet, she walked into the living room and picked up the phone. Staring at the numbers, she started to dial Logan’s number, then chickened out and sat the phone back down. She stared at it, knowing she should call him, but too afraid of how he would react.
Deciding to clear her head the best way she knew how (shopping!), she took a shower and put on a comfortable summer dress and sandals. Dabbing on a little lip-gloss and mascara, she grabbed her purse and keys and headed out the door.
After driving around aimlessly, she found herself at one of Logan’s bookstores. Locking her car, she hitched her purse up on her shoulder and walked through the doors into the cool air

conditioning. Enjoying the ambience of the place, she walked slowly back to the romance and mystery sections.
Completely engrossed in her task of selecting books, she didn’t realize someone was behind her until she heard a deep voice ask, “May I help you find something?”
Startled, she turned around and found herself face to chest with none other than Logan Drake. Looking up into his smiling eyes, she tried to muster an honest smile.
Realizing something was wrong, he looked at her in concern. “What’s wrong, Sienna?”
She shook her head, unable to gather her thoughts enough to make a coherent sentence. What was she going to say? I’m fine, but I’m having your baby? Why did the damn man have to be in this particular bookstore today?
“Come on, let’s go sit down,” he said, leading her to a small sofa along one wall.
Once they were seated, he held her hand in his. He brushed a stray lock of hair back from her face.
“Will you please tell me what’s wrong? I know something’s bothering you, I can tell by the look in your eyes.”
Sienna sighed. “It’s a conversation best held elsewhere,”
