Frowning.  The past few days had been a nightmare.  Physically, she’d be fine.  The soreness and scratches would heal quickly, but it would take a while to get over the fear.  She had been the queen of denial in high school.  Denying she needed him, needed help with her sister, even running from a relationship with his parents when they tried to get too close.  Self-protective girl.  No more.
