about having to go through with this bogus
ass engagement, I burst out of the jewelry store and ran right into
another person. My reflexes were quick, so I was able to grab her
before she fell completely on her ass. I helped steady her on her
feet.
“My bad. I wasn’t even paying attention. You
good?”
“Don’t even worry about it. I got enough to cushion
the fall,” she chuckled as she patted her hips.
I looked at her for the first time. Standing around
5’6” with skin the color of melting brown sugar and shoulder length
red wine colored hair, she was so stunning that it caught you off
guard. I had to close my eyes and open them again to make sure I
was looking at a woman and not a mirage. She was thick, and I’m not
talking video vixen thick. She was just thick. Down south,
cornbread, and collard greens thick. Probably the type that Drake
was always writing about.  I couldn’t even front on shorty who
was dressed in a pair of leather pants, an oversized sweatshirt
with the words Money Talks written on the front, tall black leather
pumps, and a pair of oversized sunglasses on top of her head. She
looked every bit of a stylist as she stood there checking me out on
the low.
“I can see that,” I smirked.
“Boy, don’t be flirting with me like that. I know you
gotta crazy girlfriend lurking somewhere in the shadows,” she
joked, looking around as if someone would pop out of the bushes at
any second. I slyly eased the engagement ring box into my jeans
pocket.
    “Damn, straight like that?”
“Yeah, as good looking as you are, I know you’ve got
some chick whipped and ready to whoop some ass over you. And
knowing how big of a flirt I am, I need to get moving before I wind
up in some unwanted drama.” She smiled, let her shades fall over
her eyes, and started to walk away.
I called out behind her. “Can I at least know your
name? Gotta pair it with the face I’m sure I won't be able to get
out of my head.”
She turned around, her hair swinging briskly in the
wind, and showed off her pearly whites. Pulling out a business card
from her large white purse, she handed it to me. “Maybe when you
need a line-up, you can visit me.”
She walked off switching, and I watched her disappear
around the corner. I finally looked down at her card that
read: Blaze McGowan, Celebrity Hair Stylist, Barber, and
Luxury Hair Salon Owner. Make your appointment today at Park Ave
Salon and Barbershop.
I slipped the card in my pocket, making a mental note
to hide it somewhere so that Nakami didn’t get her hands on it. I
definitely was going to drop in on Blaze. Because Nakami’s unstable
ass was going to be a distant memory soon.

“Babe, you want two strips of bacon or three?” I
called from the kitchen.
“You already know my fat ass wants three,” she
giggled.
I laughed to myself as I lined the baking tray with
one more slice of bacon. I popped the pan into the hot oven and
closed it. When I looked up, Blu’s beautiful ass was making her way
down the stairs. Her blue hair was pulled up on top of her head,
and her face was clear of makeup. Dressed in an old work out
t-shirt and her lace boy shorts, she looked the best I’d ever seen
her. She smiled as she walked towards me.
“Aww, look at you being all domesticated. Am I
supposed to kiss the chef?” she grinned.
“Oh, you can do more than that.” I pulled her into my
body by her hand and then picked her up and placed her on the
counter. I rubbed my hands up her thick thighs and grabbed hold of
her round hips and squeezed. She leaned in and kissed me, as she
wrapped her legs around my waist. I could feel myself reacting to
her touch and apparently so could Blu.
“Down boy. You can’t be burning up my food trying to
get to the cookie.” She hopped off the counter, and I smacked her
on her ass. “I’m going to hop in the shower real quick,” she stated
as she sashayed out of the kitchen and back up the
stairs.
