her hair and then kissed her neck with one hand at her jaw line the other holding her wrist tightly.
“Anywhere,” she said cocking her eyebrow.
“Yes,” he whispered in her ear. His heated breath made her shiver a little.
“How much are you getting?” she asked angrily.
“Enough,” he said stubbornly. He turned away from her in frustration.
“If I go with you how can I know I am safe?” She asked.
“I gave my word to bring you to him,” is all Jake said. Cinnamon felt her heart would burst. Did this mean his father planned to use her more than just as a bargaining chip?   Her only hope was for Sugar to tell their father and him to find her.  She knew it would take time and if she stalled more that maybe he could find her before anything happened.
“Come on,” he said as he grabbed her shoulder.
“But let’s eat first,” she protested.
“No get dressed,” he said sternly.
Gone was the feeling of the close intoxicating lust out Cinnamon tried to focus on her problem at hand.
As they climbed on his bike, she remembered how she used to love the open road more than anything did.  She promised herself she would never ride in a cage again but then she hadn’t planned on ever leaving her father’s gang.  She held on to Jake’s waist as they made their way through the winding hills, the ocean seemed to disappear and if it wasn’t for the salt air she would have assumed they were inland.
He pulled over to the side of the road, “What’s wrong?” she asked. He stepped off the bike and pulled her off it.
“Look,” he said pointing east into the mountain.
“What?” she asked as she stared into the woods.
“There,” he pointed at a small cabin not far from the road.
    “Okay?” she said confused.
“That’s where I am suppose to take you,” he said pausing.
“A biker is only as good as his word,” he finished.
He pulled the bike off the side of the road.  There were other bikes lined up she hadn’t noticed before just a few yards from the road hidden by bushes and a small shack.
“Cinnamon, I don’t know what he has planned for you,” he said as he led her towards the cabin.  “Why are you taking me to him then?” she asked knowing he would just parrot his word is his bond. “I have to,” he said with his mouth clenched tightly.
“Now,” he pulled her arm harder as she tried to escape from him.
It was at this moment that she heard the familiar sound, the roll of thunder from her father’s hog.  She spun around quickly just in time to see him hopped off is bike after parking it.  Her eyes started to tear up, as she watched her tall thin aged biker dad walk increasingly fast towards them.
Cinnamon felt a mixture of love and hate for her father a man with an iron heart that was cold yet could just as warm.  It must be that Sugar got her message to her father; she smiled at him as he came towards them. She watched him come close to her and Jake and felt tense she wondered if he would punch Jake.  His hands went to his jacket and for a moment Cinnamon felt her heart drop, he wouldn’t shoot him would he?
She saw the glimmer of silver and black plastic and her heart dropped in relief, it was just his glasses.   He approached Jake quickly and instead of hitting him like Cinnamon had expected he clasped hands with him and gave him a bro hung.  Cinnamon cocked her eyebrow and looked confused between the two men.
“What the fuck?” she popped her hip to the right side and slammed down her helmet.
“Don’t be mad princess,” her father said as he came close to give her a hug.
Cinnamon pulled away quickly. “Don’t touch me,” she said with daggers.
    “Cinna,” he said.
“Nathan, what is going on?” she asked staring angrily into her father’s eyes.
“She give you any trouble?” he nudged Jake and ignored his daughter.
“She has a mean kick,” he said in a serious tone.  Jake stood back from the father and daughter reunion.
    “I don’t
