still wanted to have dinner with him. There had been no trace of playing games in either her body language or her eyes.
So where did that leave him? And where did it leave Trent? They couldn’t both have her. Wyatt’s mind tried to go there, but he wouldn’t allow it. It wasn’t that the idea of sharing a woman or a sub, in or out of bed, with his twin was repulsive. But they’d never discussed it seriously. As a fantasy, sure. And given the number of ménages currently in Racy, the subject came up quite often. But in reality, could they do that without killing each other over jealousy? Wyatt had no clue. And, he was quite certain Trent would never go for it at any rate, especially given his recent history with Deanna.
No. That wasn’t a workable solution for them. They’d have to figure something else out. One of them would have to back off. The trouble was Wyatt didn’t want to. Not even after he’d seen them making out like horny teens. What did that make him? A chump? No. He wasn’t. And Trent wasn’t an asshole who would hurt him on purpose. He knew that.
He finally fell asleep about two hours before his alarm went off, and when it did, he felt like someone had beaten the shit out of him. But work was work and he had to go. Maybe he could sneak out of the office later this afternoon and catch a nap before dinner.
Dinner. How the hell was he going to get through that? What would he say to Ria? How had he landed in this shitstorm?

Wyatt pulled up to the Rodriguez house and was about to turn off his car and get out, when Ria emerged from the side door of the garage. She had her coat on, but his gaze traveled down to high-heeled black boots and he sucked in a quick breath. If she had on a short skirt as well, he was fucking toast tonight. So much for his resolve to keep things casual. Did this girl have any idea how pretty and sexy she actually was?
She didn’t even wait for him to open her door. She slid into the passenger seat and cast a nervous glance toward the house. “Let’s go. I had a talk with them earlier and things are not stable in there.”
“All right.” He pulled out of the driveway and headed downtown. “What prompted the talk?”
“When Trent and I talked last night, or early this morning I guess, he helped me realize that until I confronted my parents, I couldn’t move forward with making things right between myself and Marisol. So, I did.”
“Wow.” Wyatt was impressed, with both Trent and Ria. “What did you say to them?”
She gave him a sheepish glance. “I told them I wanted to make up with Marisol, and that it was time they accepted her and Alexa. I said that Luke and Rafe were their only sons, and both loved them and missed them, and that it was also time they accepted their lifestyles and tried to understand them, because you only get one chance at life, and when people are gone, they’re gone.”
Wyatt swallowed hard as memories of the night of his parents’ fatal auto accident flashed through his mind. “I can understand that.”
“I know you can. Both you and Trent can. You lost your parents when you were too young. I reminded mine of that this afternoon. I told them that they’re blessed to still be here for all their children, and they shouldn’t waste this time with any of them.”
Wyatt stopped at a red light and gave her a long, searching look. Where had she been hiding this strength and courage of conviction? “What did they say?”
“Well, nothing I can repeat.” She laughed nervously. “Not even in English. And, I’m pretty sure I’ll be moving into the apartment above the bar with Peppi very soon. I called her and Luke today and they both said they’d be fine with me doing that.”
    “I’ll help you move.”
    “Thanks. I’d appreciate that.”
When the light turned green, he eased onto Market Street. “How do you feel right now?”
“Free. That’s the best way I can describe it. I feel as if I’ve been carrying
