Emily’s breast and casually toyed with the nipple as they spoke. It was a gesture made more intimate by its subtlety, and Emily allowed her to continue, enjoying the attention.
‘Which offer is that then?’ Emily asked coolly.
‘He wants you to stay with us until we reach Havalaña,’ Dawn explained. ‘Why don’t you do that?’ There was a childlike eagerness in her voice. ‘You and I could spend most of our evenings together, like this,’ she coaxed. Her fingers tightened softly around the bud of Emily’s nipple, adding encouragement to her plea.
‘It’s a tempting proposition,’ Emily told her. ‘With you as the enticement, it sounds almost too tempting,’ she added softly.
Dawn giggled and kissed Emily lightly on the corner of her mouth. ‘Once you get used to the captain, you find he’s not so bad,’ she explained. ‘He can be very cruel, but that’s not always as unpleasant as it sounds.’
Emily smiled, not wholly convinced that this was true. The scene in the pilothouse was vividly imprinted on her memory. As she recalled the situation, she knew whose position she would rather have occupied. The sight of Dawn, on her knees, being forced to suck one man’s cock whilst another beat her, had been intensely arousing. Dawn had looked delightful being subjugated to such a humiliating punishment. However, Emily had thought the captain’s position looked far more exciting. To be able to brandish the cane, to be able to have someone do her bidding when she told them, was a stimulating notion. She envied the captain’s good fortune and his position of absolute power.
She smiled quietly to herself, surprised by the sudden appetite for sexual power. A thought occurred to her and she brushed Dawn’s hand away crisply. Turning to study the woman’s face in the darkness, she asked, ‘Why did you come here, Dawn?’
‘I wanted to do things with you,’ Dawn replied coyly.
‘Was that the only reason?’ Emily asked, sensing there was something else in the woman’s voice.
‘Does it matter?’ Dawn asked, unable to meet Emily’s gaze.
Emily nodded. ‘Yes,’ she said. ‘It matters to me.’ She put her arm around Dawn’s shoulder and held her naked body. Still unused to holding another woman like this, she felt the warm embers of her desire being rekindled between her legs. Almost unconsciously, she rubbed her fingers against the pierced nipple closest to her hand. ‘Did the captain send you?’
Dawn nodded, unhappy at having to admit this.
Emily was not particularly surprised by the revelation. ‘Did he say why?’
Dawn nodded again. ‘He wants you as one of his slaves on the boat,’ she began. Her words were a soft, reluctant whisper. ‘He and Laura are having a bet as to whether or not you stay.’
In the darkness, Emily grinned. ‘Why did he send you? Was I supposed to fall in love with your charms and decide that I couldn’t bare to be parted from you after this night?’ It was a fanciful idea, she supposed but it was the only plausible one that came to mind.
Dawn shook her head. She caressed Emily’s breast as she spoke, allowing the woman to tease her own piercings at the same time. ‘He said I had to give you a wink at dinner,’ she explained. ‘He wanted to see how you responded.’
Emily frowned, remembering the incident. ‘As I recall,’ she said quietly. ‘I was so scared I probably looked revolted.’
Dawn nodded. She smiled fondly at the memory. ‘Captain Wilde said that it was enough for him to know what you really wanted. He said if you reacted like that to a come on from a woman, you were obviously fighting your own real feelings.’
Emily’s smile was perplexed. ‘He’s quite the psychologist, isn’t he?’ she remarked.
Dawn shook her head. ‘He’s a good captain. You could enjoy your time on this boat with us if you wanted.’
Emily shook her head sadly. ‘I’m sorry, Dawn,’ she said quietly. ‘But I don’t think I can now. I wouldn’t
