Keeping Blossom
the way I want it between us, pure honesty. So tell me…is the house that important to you to have?”
“No, it’s not. My parents aren’t there and I’ve already put all my stuff in storage.”
“Okay, so here’s what we’ll do. We get the mortgage up to date, then put it up for sale. Then we can look for a house outside the city. A friend of mine just moved him and his wife out to the suburbs. There are lots of great places to raise our babies.”
    “Babies?”
“Yeah, I’m guessing you’re not on anything, right?”
“I’ve had no reason for birth control.”
“Well, now you still don’t. I want as many kids as you are willing to give me.”
“What if I only want one?” I ask, but internally I’m squealing. I’d love to have as many babies he wants. Happy dance, happy dance.
“Then you best learn to love at least two because I didn’t like being an only child.”
“Me, too. I hated it. By the way, I want to have as many babies you want.”
    “Good girl.”
As we lay there, I start to think about the changes my life is going to take. “Won’t I need to go there for the closing and stuff?”
He caresses my cheek as I rest my head on his strong chest. “No baby, we can have a lawyer do that.”
“Okay,” I mumble as I dose off.

Chapter 11
“Hey, Dad, Shirley. What brings you here?” I haven’t told them about Blossom yet. I want her to myself and now they’re here. Damn. It’s only been an hour since I took her again for the third time. She’s taking a shower.
“We came to meet this woman who you’ve got living here,” he says with raised brows.
“What makes you think I have a woman living here?”
“First, because you didn’t go to work today so I came to see if you found her, and second, she’s coming down the stairs in your robe.”
I turn around in shock and jealousy. Blossom looks fucking sexy in my robe. I rush to her side and angrily mutter, “Babe, you might as well come on down and meet my parents.”
“If you don’t want me to…” I immediately see her indecision and her fear of my rejection, but I already told her she’s the one so I’m not going to let her try to get out of this.
I kiss her cheek before growling in her ear. “Don’t Blossom. I wanted you to meet them, just not yet. I had wanted some alone time with you before I had to share.”
Dragging her nervous self over to them, I make the introductions. “Dad, Shirley, this is my fiancée, Blossom Brooklyn Bennett. You can call her Brooklyn or Brooke.”
“Why not Blossom?” My dad asks knowingly. The sparring ring isn’t looking like a bad idea.
“Because only I get to call her that,” I snarl, glaring at him, but he just laughs at me.
“It’s so wonderful to meet you,” Shirley says happily, hugging Blossom right away. It takes her by surprise yet she welcomes the familiarity.
“So you’re the one who got my son to take the train? It’s nice to meet you.”
“It’s nice to meet you two as well.” My woman is blushing, but that’s her thing so I’m relaxed. After what they knew from Adam, I was worried about the opposition, not that I’d tolerate any disrespect, but for anyone to doubt her sweetness would tick me off.
“Do you two want to do lunch?” Dad asks us.
Blossom answers for us. “Actually, I was about to make some food before we leave.”
“Do you want to stay? Blossom is a phenomenal cook.”
“Oh, you’re going out? We don’t want to intrude.” Ha. Too late for that.
“I’m taking her away for the weekend, but we aren’t leaving until rush hour dies down.”
“I told him we don’t need to go anywhere, but he doesn’t listen to me. It’s easier to stay home instead of traveling.”
“It is, but I have a court case that could last a long time. I want to treat my woman to something special because her ass is going to be locked up until I feel safe with her being alone in the city.” Both women roll their eyes at me, but my father
