again."
Much to his dismay, though, Andreas shook his head. "I wish I could. In fact, there's nothing I want more. But for the moment, it's not possible. Please listen, Jessie."
Andreas's voice held that undertone of command that made Jessie's eyes cross and his cock hard. He relaxed against the pillows and waited. He'd just give Andreas some time to say whatever he wanted to say, and after that, they could go back to what really mattered. Their union.
    ****
It was hard to focus when Jessie was in front of him, naked, beautiful, well-fucked and still very much willing for a repeat performance. His inviting smile challenged Andreas's resolve. However, Andreas remained very much aware of the threat still looming over them. He hadn't been able to control himself in the hallway, his wolf needing to reassert his dominance over his mate, to make sure Jessie belonged to him. But now that they'd had sex, the hard part needed to be dealt with.
"Back at the club, you left before I could finish explaining."
Jessie tensed, the glazed, lustful look in his green eyes melting into something icier. "You were pretty clear regarding your intentions," he shot back.
Andreas shook his head and sat onto the bed next to his lover. He took Jessie's hands and kissed them. "No, I wasn't and you know it. Here's the thing. I want everything to be out in the open between us, so I'm going to ask you to be completely honest with me."
Jessie hesitated. "I will be as honest as I can," he said. "There is one thing I cannot reveal, because it's not my secret to tell."
Andreas guessed that piece of information must have something to do with Gavin, and he couldn't fault Jessie for his loyalty—especially not under the circumstances. "Fair enough," he replied. "How about I begin?"
Jessie nodded, now eyeing him with a little less coldness. Andreas took a deep breath, knowing honesty was the best policy in this case, but still a little apprehensive. "I don't know how much you've found out about Saul's nature. You seemed aware of him not being human when we spoke earlier, but I'm not sure you were ever actually told what he is."
Jessie shook his head, much like Andreas had expected. "They didn't tell me. They said it was too dangerous."
So Andreas had guessed right, and Saul and Gavin had done their best to protect Jessie from the dangers of the werewolf world. Well, now, whether Jessie wanted to or not, he was involved. In fact, Andreas highly suspected he'd at least brushed the edges of the supernatural from the very moment he'd been born.
But he'd better start at the beginning, because his abruptness hadn't helped the first time around. "Saul is a werewolf, and so am I," he said.
When Jessie just stared at him, Andreas decided that it was best to show him. He was already half undressed after what had happened between him and Jessie in the hallway. Releasing Jessie's hand, he abandoned the bed and finished taking his clothes off. Jessie's eyes brightened with interest, which predictably made Andreas's cock react in turn, rising to the occasion.
Jessie licked his lips and Andreas was sorely tempted to pounce on his mate and thrust his cock into Jessie's mouth, or better yet his ass. There were so many things they hadn't done in bed, because Jessie hadn't been ready. In a way, he still wasn't, and Andreas could wait when it came to sex. But the trust between them remained shaky, and that was one of the reasons why Andreas needed to go through with this. They could only have a relationship if Jessie truly understood what he was getting himself into.
Taking a deep breath, Andreas summoned his wolf form. As the shift flowed over him, the instinct to possess Jessie became even stronger, more potent. He reined it in with great difficulty, dropping to the floor on four paws and staring at his lover.
From the bed, Jessie released a gasp. "Oh my God. That's… Holy shit. This is a dream. It has to be some sort of weird dream."
Carefully, so as not to spook
