her robe, and ran out of the bedroom. Heath put his arms around Adam’s shoulders. They kissed for several moments, both still enjoying the taste of her.
Heath leaned back and said, “I heard you talking. I couldn’t tell how she was reacting.”
“She was surprised. She still thinks we don’t know her well enough to care for her that way.”
“I had a dream about her.”
“And you blabbed in your sleep.”
    Heath lowered his eyes. “Sorry.”
Adam slapped him on the ass. “Don’t be. She didn’t react badly.” He pulled away to find his pants. “And she didn’t turn away from us.”
Heath managed a smile. “You were distracting her with that cock of yours.”
Adam pulled his pants on and crossed his arms over his chest. “Everything will work out. I watched you two this morning as you slept. You looked right in each other’s arms.” He backed out of the room and added softly, “She’ll come around, between my cock and your charm.” He turned to go into the kitchen feeling confident in the reassurance he’d just given.

Heath pulled Mallory into a hug as she stepped into the house. She kissed him on the cheek and walked past him into the living room.
“How do you like it?” she asked.
“We love it. We couldn’t have picked a better place ourselves, but of course you knew we would like it,” he said with a teasing smile.
“I’m pleased to see you two so happy.” She sat on the couch, and he went into the kitchen to open a bottle of wine. He brought out two glasses and sat beside her. “Did you send Adam away for the night?” she asked as she accepted the glass.
“He’s doing the grocery shopping. It goes much faster without me.”
“Ah. So either you want me all to yourself or you want to talk.”
He held her gaze. “You know what I want to talk about.”
“I have a guess, but I’m being polite and staying out of your head.”
    “The music box.”
She smiled. “It won’t affect her anymore. Adam saw to that.”
“We didn’t have to do that in the first place. I wish you hadn’t done anything.”
“I want to make you happy, Heath.” She set her glass down and turned her body toward him.
Her nearness excited him, as it always did. “I understand, but I wanted her to come around naturally.”
“The music box only made her think of you and Adam. It did not affect her feelings. She couldn’t get you out of her head, and she drew her own conclusions. She opened her heart and mind to you. When you saw her again, she wasn’t defensive or wary.”
“But does she really feel the way she would have felt otherwise?”
“You said you felt something special when you were with her. Adam experienced it as well. Was it the same the next time you were together after Adam deactivated the music box?”
    “Yes.”
“And by then the spell was over. She made love with both of you again of her own free will.” She smiled and stroked his arm. “Don’t you feel that way?”
“I do. I can’t explain it, Mallory. I don’t want her to wake up one day and think she’s made a mistake.”
She laughed softly. “Darling, you’re driving yourself crazy. One minute you’re sure you met her because you were meant to be together, and the next minute you’re worried it’s all going to fall apart. What are you afraid of? Losing her one day? Losing Adam?”
“I’m not afraid of losing Adam. I know he loves me.”
“Are you afraid because your feelings for Rose came so suddenly?”
He thought about her question for a long time. “Not really. I fell for Adam just as quickly. I want Adam to love her the way I do. They like each other a lot, and the sex is perfect, but Adam’s holding back a little too.”
“What you’re really saying is you want everything to be perfect for all three of you and the waiting is frustrating you?”
He nodded. “Yes. I woke up with her in my arms yesterday. Adam touched my face, and I opened my eyes to see him gazing at me. I was
