yellow-brown sealed envelope out.

"That’s for you, open it up." Jennifer looked at him, but his face didn't give her any clues as to what lay inside.

When she opened the sealed packet, she saw his medical records from the last three years. All showed him clean and disease free. Jennifer smiled, he really was a mind reader. Riordan acknowledged her smile with a matching grin.

"When I saw that it was time, that you were ready to be with me this way I went and had myself tested again."

"You're not the only one who went to the doctor." Riordan merely smiled and nodded he knew that already.

"How did you know?" What the heck? And here she thought she was keeping a secret.

"I saw and felt the patch on you hip last week."

"Oh." Jennifer once again felt like a dummy. The patch wasn't to be missed, especially by a man with hands as thorough as Riordan's. These last weeks, he touched every part of her in all ways either of them could imagine, and he knew what would make her scream for mercy. If he didn't feel it when he aroused her, then certainly when they would lay down to sleep, as his hands roved over her skin soothing her to full slumber. Riordan wanted no clothes between them at night, only let her wear panties to bed and bare breasted with even those. Many a morning she awoke to him sucking her bared nipples, rubbing morning wood against her thinly covered sex, working her toward orgasm before she rose.

"Why didn't you ask me about it?"

"I knew if I acknowledged the patch, I would look for a reason to test whether it was working or not."

"Oh." The implication hit her, and all conversation stopped in the large SUV.

The only reason Riordan would allow panties to cover her was to give himself a barrier to remind him to stop if they got too close to full consummation in the middle of the night. But he had self-control in spades, and he never seemed close to breaking. Unlike Jen, who would have given him the business weeks ago, Riordan wanted to wait for the right moment. She respected him for the desire to make their first time together special, but she was left wanting too much to like him for it.

The couple arrived at the Raleigh terminal airport shortly after departing, and the flight was first class on a small jet first headed to Charlotte, then Asheville. True to his word they arrived three hours later. It was now ten p.m. and they drove the twenty minutes to the cabin that Riordan rented for their weekend of love. Jennifer was stunned at the amount of work that he put into their weekend getaway. The house was beautiful, a trumped up log cabin high up on the side of the immense snowcapped mountain.

Riordan pulled a key from the potted plant beside the door and opened the large wooden door. He picked Jen up and carried her inside, kicked the door closed with his foot. Looking around as Riordan carried her through the house, it was way more space than they could use together and could have slept at least eight with comfort. When she got to the master suite, it was fully established for romance. The bedroom was filled with unlit candles, bed swaddled in mosquito net. There was a platter bed side with a bottle of chilled champagne and two glasses.

Riordan walked to the bedroom door. "I'm going to grab our bags, and heat the meal that the housekeeper left for us."

"Okay, I would like a shower, so take your time." Jennifer was fine with the nominal delay, as is she was nervous, really petrified. Her friends were all very forthcoming on what to expect, and gave her some ideas to try this weekend. Shoot, Tresha was more excited than Jennifer and begged her to call afterwards. Jennifer’s mind replayed the conversation she had with Treesh as she drove to meet Riordan at his house.

"It doesn't matter what time you get done, call me or text. I have to know how wonderful it was."

"The first time usually isn't that great for the woman Treesh."

    "I bet
