horrible.  She felt as if she was going to faint any second.
Rushing to her door, she got inside, and sat on the couch.

                  “I
have to know if it’s just the spell.  But would it affect me the same way?
That makes no sense whatsoever.”  Sandy said out loud.
    Her
mind was still running wild, she picked up the book the demon had given her,
how could she know the book was telling her the truth?  After all weren’t
demons evil, they never told the truth, and tried to make you sin?

    Opening
it she looked at the information, not really sure what to really try and find.
Grabbing one of her “normal” books, she opened the two front pages and compared
the information provided.  There was a copyright on both of them, though her
book was newer, the one from the demon had a publishing date of 1887.

    At
the bottom of the page in the demon book was something, it almost looked like
smears.  Squinting her eyes she tried to see exactly what it was, there seemed
to be tiny words.  There was no way to tell what it said.

                  “I
need a magnifying glass.”  Hoping up she went and got her make-up mirror.  It
magnified everything by like 100 times.

    Holding
the book up she saw that it was indeed words, looking closely she couldn’t
figure out what it said right away.  “noitcif fo krow a si koob siht.”  She
wrote on the paper.

                  “Wait,
that says, this book is a work of fiction.  What the hell?”  She was furious,
mad as hell, so what was a demon birth really going to be like?

                  “Come
here NOW.”  She screamed into the air.  If the demon was smart he wouldn’t make
her wait either.

                  “Yes?”
Sandy heard his voice from the bedroom.

                  “Oh
I think you know what already.”  Her voice vibrated with anger.

                  “You’re
one of the smarter ones. Most of them don’t even check that spot.”  The demon
grinned, almost as if in appreciate to her smarts.

                  “Do
you ever not lie?”

                  “I’m
not really sure, depends on what you consider a lie.  Personally I don’t
consider anything lying.”  He chuckled deeply.

                  “So
what is this pregnancy going to be like?”

                  “I
don’t know what to tell you, I’ve never been involved in the final steps, I
just spread the seed!”

                  “Glad
you think this is funny.  How do I get rid of you once and for all?  Does Jeff
only like me because of your spell?  Am I going to get fat again?  Why did you
lie to me?”  Sandy spat out the questions in rapid fire.

                  “Oh
aren’t we full of questions?  One’s that you may never know the truth about!”
He laughed again, loudly, boldly, and with heartiness.

                  “You’re
an asshole.”

                  “No
I’m a demon.  What did you think would happen if you aligned yourself with a
demon?  Come on you’ve been so smart about so many things, don’t be dumb about
that?”

                  “You
told me things, you acted nice, why?”

                  “Because
that’s what I do.  You know what’s funny, the fact that you thought you were
falling in love with me.  Oh no wait the fact that you thought I was falling
for you; that was a good one!”

    Sandy
got up and hit the demon as hard as she could, he didn’t even budge, but she
keep pounding her fists into his chest.  “You’re such an asshole, I hate you, I
wish I’d never had called you in the first place.”

    He
let her continue for a few minutes, then grabbed her hands with one of his,
effectively stopping her assault in an
