the couch
of their home, hardly being able to believe the scene that was
playing out in front of her. The couch that was the setting of so
many cozy nights together for the couple, but never sex, was now
being used for the lover’s sordid encounter.
Tony had Becky bent over in a position that
he had never so much as attempted with Katherine. With their hands
and mouths eager for each other’s body, she finally realized what
passion was and that was only because her boyfriend was
experiencing it with another woman.
Her brain raced for what she should do. She
knew Tony would use his relationship with her parents to try to get
out of this. Thinking quickly she took out her phone. She tried to
relax as much as possible as her blood was boiling at the moment.
She opened the door quietly, took a few snaps with her phone and
then let it all out and started screaming at the couple.
Katherine may be a smaller woman, but when
she it pissed off, she really lets her presence be known. She threw
the whore out on the street without even giving her a chance to get
her clothes on and after a small amount of pleading, Tony soon
followed.
Becky was the complete opposite of Katherine
and that was what hurt her the most. She had bleached blonde hair,
big breasts and the rest of the Barbie doll features that made men
fall at her feet. Katherine had shoulder length dark hair that
showed off her thin frame and bone structure beautifully.
She was fairly petite with green eyes. Her
pale complexion looked out of place with the rest of her friends,
the majority of the time. Tony had tried and tried to get her back
in the previous weeks pulling out all the usually lines of "It
didn't mean anything" and "I'll never do anything to hurt you
again", but they all fell on deaf ears.
Katherine was determined to move on with her
life and not take the cheating low life back. She realized that the
stability they shared meant nothing, perhaps passion was important
in a relationship after all. She hoped she would be able to find
that deep down passion she had never felt. Find the passion she
knew that men really wanted from her. Passion that would make her
truly happy. Passion that would last the test of time and not be
jeopardized by a young chick at a tanning salon. But how?
"Can I get you a drink ma'am?" A voice said,
awakening her from her sleepy thoughts. She looked up at an air
stewardess and ordered herself a large vodka. There was nothing
like alcohol to numb the pain that she was feeling right now.
Jacqueline looked across at her as she downed the drink almost in
one gulp.
"You told your mom and dad yet?"
Katherine did not need to ask her friend what
she meant because she knew.
"No." she paused "They love Tony so much
Jac."
"They love you more." her friend replied
affectionately rubbing her arm.
Katherine smiled, "I will tell them soon, I
promise."
"By not telling them that you are over, I
think you are subconsciously leaving the door open for you and
Tony."
"I would never get back with him. I just need
to find a way to get over him. Five years isn't easy to forget, we
had so many plans..."
"Promise me something?"
"What?" Katherine replied.
"Promise me that you will at least try and
have a good vacation with me."
Katherine looked at her friend’s sad face and
realized how selfish she was being. Jacqueline had invited her to
the Bahamas to take her mind off Tony and so far, he was all she
could think about and all that she could talk about.
Katherine held up her little finger in the
way that they always did when they made promises to one another,
Jacqueline linked it with hers as they grinned to one another. From
that moment on, she decided to try as hard as she could to look at
the vacation in a whole new way.
It was a chance to have fun and look to the
future, a future without Tony. A short while later, the pilot
announced that they would soon be arriving in the Bahamas and as
they looked out of the window of the plane, the place
