She needn’t have made the demand. He was too busy kissing down her neck to speak, but she felt better saying it anyway.
CeCe had to at least pretend she was in control of this situation, even as it was very obvious she wasn’t.
    Not at all.
The orgasm built, slow and steady, until it reached a crescendo. Only once she was writhing beneath his touch did Wade pound himself to a loud, shaking finish.
He was still buried inside her, both of them breathless, when he said, “I could get used to waking up to this.”
So could she. As the tiny voice of reason in her head said no, CeCe said, “Then don’t go.”
It was stupid. Crazy. She’d never learn. She’d tried to get Aaron to stay with her too and that had been a disaster.
She was good and truly fucked up. John probably deserved some of the blame for that. That didn’t make her feel any better as she waited for Wade to blow her off.
    “A’ight.”
“What?” She twisted in his arms to face him. “All right?”
He lifted one shoulder in a half shrug. “Sure. I can hang around town for a while. I got a few days before I have to leave for the next event. I reckon I could come up with a few ideas on how to occupy that time.” He swept her naked body with his gaze before focusing back on her face. “You going to be able to stand this place for a few more nights?”
    “No.”
“No?” He lifted his brows and laughed. “Then what are you going to do?”
“Go back to my house.” There was no need to stay in this place when she had that empty mansion with a king sized bed and Egyptian cotton sheets waiting for her.
“Okay.” He dipped his head. “I understand you wanting your own bed. I suppose I can hang out here if I know you’ll be stopping by for more of this.”
Wade ran his hand up her body, leaving a trail of goose bumps behind.
He obviously had misunderstood her. “Actually, I figured you’d come with me.”
“To your place?” He lifted his brows high.
    “Yes.”
He hesitated long enough she braced for him to say no. Finally, he bobbed his head. “I guess I could do that.”
    “Really?”
“Uh, huh. Let me ask you something. This the house you used to live in with your husband?”
    “Yes.”
“The husband who cheated on you?”
“I’ve only been married once, so yes.”
    He nodded again. “Okay.”
    “Why’d you ask that?”
“Revenge is a powerful motivator. I’m figuring it could make for some pretty kick ass sex.”
“Our sex hasn’t been kick ass already?”
“Oh, it has. Which is why it’ll be extra interesting to see where it can go from here.” He grinned wide before he delivered a slap to her ass cheek with his open palm hard enough to sting. “Get up. I’m hungry.”
She rubbed the tender flesh and frowned. “You’re always hungry.”
“For one thing or another, yup, that’s probably true. But right now, I’ve got steak and eggs on my mind.”
    “Steak for breakfast?”
He raised a brow. “You know after a comment like that I’m gonna make you try it.”
“I usually just have coffee for breakfast. Sometimes melon.”
“There’s no protein in any of that. It’s no wonder you’re so pale I can practically see through you. You got no iron in your blood.”
    “I am not—”
    “Today you’re gonna have eggs.”
She was finding it was easier to just humor Wade.
Besides, he’d bowed to her request for a few more days and nights of mind erasing sex in the comfort of her own bed. The least she could do was try his stupid steak for breakfast.
“Fine.” CeCe drew in a breath and let it out. “Do I have time to shower first?”   She felt a little sticky from all the sex.
He grinned, obviously pleased with himself that she’d given in so easily. “Sure. Take all the time you need, beautiful. In fact, I think I’ll join you.”
She shook her head at his persistence. “Somehow I don’t think that’s going to save time.”
“Nope. But it will be time well spent and a whole
