bringing
his hard length against my throbbing pussy. Like two starving, needy souls, we
feasted on each other. Lips, teeth, and tongue drawing life from the other.
He rolled me onto my back, gliding his cock through my wetness and
ratcheting my desire to the cresting point. “You sure you still want me?” he
asked the second we parted for breath.
“Fuck want. I need you.” I
gasped as he nudged my opening. “I need every unorganized, messy Pig-Pen part
of you, Theo Risso.”
Rather than laugh like I expected, he pressed his cock into my aching
core, slowly, a sensual heat in his eyes. “Then I surrender,” he whispered as
he filled me, nudging my womb.
I’d never once cried while having sex, but Theo made slow love to my
mouth and my body, his hands worshiping my skin, drawing up emotions I never
expected. Nothing existed but us and the gentle rocking of our bodies. No
thoughts of work, no worries about tomorrows claimed my mind.
We came together—as one. One heartbeat, one voice crying the other’s
name.
Still connected and bodies intertwined, we lay in silence. My ears rang
long after my breathing returned to normal, but my heart thrummed with the
desire to burst.
Theo nuzzled my neck, his breath and flicking tongue sending delightful
shivers down to my center. He captured my lips again, fingers tangling into my
hair as his cock thickened inside of me.
A rocking of his hips, and my breath caught on an unexpected half-sob.
He stilled and pushed up onto his elbows. “What’s wrong?”
“I … I never knew it could be this way.”
His cocky smirk fluttered my heart. “This way?” He sat back, lifted my
hips, and thrust into me.
My eyes closed as a shudder ripped down through me. “Holy shit.”
“Mmm.” Theo’s fingers dug into my thighs as he thrust again.
“So good.” I gasped, fighting to keep my gaze on him. “So fucking
good.”
He peered down at me, sexy-as-hell smile still in place as he lifted
one of my legs to his shoulders. “Little lamb” —he leaned down, bringing our
chests together and my calf beside my ear— “you have no idea how good I can
be.”
I thread my fingers through his hair and tugged his lips a breath away
from mine. “Then you’d best get busy showing me.”

The next morning, I arrived at Boston Children’s two minutes early, a
third cup of coffee in hand, and a contented sigh fluttering from my mouth.
While the day would doubtless be too long and suck like most others, I had
something to look forward to—someone to share my life with. Someone to ask me
about my day, kiss my lips, and hold me close.
The thought of another six months of hell before being able to take
steps toward opening my own practice no longer dragged my feet. I knew Theo
would be there to help me escape whenever the hell I needed.
“Thank God you’re here, Charlene!” one of the E.R. nurses said,
hurrying toward me with a stack of files.
I tossed my Styrofoam cup in the trash and met the day head-on with a
smile. Time to conquer the tasks at hand and finish up so Theo and I could get
back to enjoying the beginnings of something beautiful.
