She licked down his throat.
He groaned and flexed his hips, pulling out until only the tip of his cock touched her walls before driving back deep inside.
“Christ, you’re so tight. So wet. I’m not going to last.” He rocked into her again. “Touch yourself. Come again for me.”
    She nodded. “Raise up.”
He pushed up onto his arms, and she slipped her hand between their bodies, watching the thrust of his wet cock as she rubbed herself. The tension twisted inside her again, spinning out of control, tightening with each slam of his hips.
“So good, so damn good.” His words echoed in her ears. The muscles in his shoulders bunched, rippling as he climbed toward release.
“Yes. Now, now.” Her orgasm hit her, stealing her breath.
“Hell! Oh, yeah.” He groaned, driving into her once, twice more. He shuddered then collapsed on top of her. “Sorry. Sorry. Too fast.” His words puffed over her cheek, his lips brushed hers.
“No. It was perfect. Better than perfect. Better than ever before.” She loved that he’d lost control.
He rolled to the side and pulled her with him, tucking her against him.
His heart thundered beneath her ear, steady and strong the most reassuring sound she’d heard in months. Leaning over, she peppered his face with kisses before settling on his mouth, her hands relearning the hard angles of his body.
“So what do we do now?” she whispered against his lips.
He grinned. “Give me a few minutes and I’ll show you.”
Laughter tickled her throat. “That’s not what I meant.”
“ I know.” He caressed her cheek. “Whatever we want. We can hang out and have a second honeymoon in the Caribbean or… Celeste said we could try to find a voodoo priestess with enough power to send us back home. But – ”
“But Magick isn’t an exact science.” Just wait until she told him about Vea` and the wish.
“Yeah.” His brows knitted. “Do you think we should try to go back? Celeste said we’re not really dead.”
Should they? Hell, what if they ended up lost in time? Or separated? They needed to think. And talk. Losing each other again wasn’t an option.
“Ian, I don’t care where we are as long as we’re together.”
“Well, I’m not going anywhere. I’m yours for life.”
“I know that now.” She kissed him again, climbing to lie on top of his warm body. “I finally realized I have a man who will always come back to me.”
“I thought you knew that already.” His hands stroked her bare back.
She shook her head. “I freaked out because you—” She stopped.
“Acted like an ass. I know. I’m sorry.”
    “No, I—”
“Izzy, I never should have tried to make you stop working.”
“But you were right about Daniel.”
“Wish I’d been wrong. I just panicked, you know? I’d lost one person I loved and the thought of losing you…” He swallowed hard. “I didn’t want to be without you, but everything I did pushed you farther away. I’ve never let fear get the best of me, but I …” He sighed. “I’m not sure I won’t screw up again. But,” His voice cracked, and he clutched her against him. “I can’t lose you. Not again.”
“You won’t .” She was done running. “I’m sure we’ll both screw up once in awhile, but no matter what, I won’t give up on us. Never again.”
“I love when you’re stubborn. ” He pulled the blanket over their heads, cocooning them in their private world. “Most of the time anyway.”
“It’s part of my charm,” she whispered.
He grinned as his hand slipped between her legs, fingers circling her wet heat. “Mmm.” He pressed her into the mattress, his full mouth brushing hers. “Oh, darlin’, that’s just one of your many charms.”
