    Chapter 1

Faye was a forty-year-old woman who was not going quietly into the night.  A few more pounds over what she’d like to admit, she was still shapely.  Her blue eyes sparkled, her caramel colored, shoulder length hair shined, and she stood a confident five foot four inches tall. Not ready to call it a day on her sexual side, she found she now had the time to cultivate her desires.  Her husband left her for a younger woman about ten years ago and she raised her handsome son, Taylor, alone.  He was moving out today, and she stood at the window watching as the small rented moving van pulled away.
“Today is the first day of the rest of your life!”  She told her reflection in the glass.   Turning around she faced her seemingly larger living room, now devoid of video games and Taylor’s guitar in the corner.  A small tug at her heart, and then she was fine.
Dating over the last few years had been rather lack luster for her.  A series of leftover men, no one found interesting.  Justifying her continuance of the ritual, she told herself she had to eat, might as well be at her dates expense, in a nice restaurant.  Wanting more, she was always hoped the next time would be different.
Recently, a new girl started at the office where Faye worked as a bookkeeper.  They were about the same age and became friends quickly.  Although her new friend, Clair, was childless, their situations were much the same.  Clair and her husband divorced five years previously, and not having a child, she was a little freer to date.
Clair was more adventurous than Faye was. She liked things a little kinky and invited Faye to join her in a threesome more than once.  Faye always declined with a laugh of embarrassment. Clair belonged to a group that encouraged the kind of kink she enjoyed and now that Faye was free, she made Faye agree to go with her, just once.  This weekend would be Faye’s first exposure to anything outside her comfort zone.
The two girls went shopping earlier in the week for the proper attire for Faye’s excursion into the dark side.  Glad that her breasts were still generally perky, she was even gladder to find that a corset made up for the few extra pounds she still needed to lose.  Not used to showing so much skin, she was still unsure she could pull off the look Clair helped her to accomplish.  Walking in the stilettos was going to be hard enough.
This was just supposed to be a social event they were going to and nothing sexual would be expected of her unless she wandered away and unknowingly ended up in the area set aside for just that purpose.  Even then, no still meant no, and she could decline.  It terrified her and excited her at the same time.
Faye sat down on the couch.  The house was quiet, so quiet, until the phone rang, startling her, “Hello?”
“Is he gone yet?” Clair asked.
    “Clair…”
“What?  Come on…now you can actually have a life!  Don’t feel bad about that!”
“He just drove away, gimme a break!” Faye laughed.
“Let’s go out for a drink. Whadaya say?”
    “Okay.”
“Great.  I’ll pick you up in about an hour and a half.  See ya then.”
    “All right.”
    “Wear something sexy!”
“Clair!”  Faye laughed, but Clair had already hung up.
Leaping up from the couch, she bounded up the stairs to her bedroom.  Pulling off her shirt and wiggling out of her jeans, she stood in front of the mirror.  She had to laugh, not being worried who would see her in her undies; they weren’t very attractive, white cotton grannie panties. Today she would throw them away; she was ready for a change.
After a quick shower, she started to go through all the things she bought on her shopping trip with Clair. Spreading a few things out on her bed, she picked up the black lace panty and bra set several times before finally deciding to wear them.  In addition, she wore a black short skirt and a dark blue low cut
