remember me by. Remember how I made you feel right now, not how you felt this morning. See you at home.”
With that, I watched him strut out the door. Standing there feeling dazed, I knew I had something to do. What was it? Shoot! I had a meeting to go to. Flipping my compact mirror out of my purse, I made sure I looked presentable and put it back. I checked the memo to see which room the meeting was held in and headed there.

Chapter 9
    Matthew

“Welcome to our meeting, Jenna,” I said as I shuffled my file folder to place inside of my workbag.
Jenna looked flustered and out of breath as she glanced around at an empty room. “Was...there a meeting?” Her eyebrows pinched in the center, doubting her question.
“It was a very short one. The meeting is over.” Sitting back down, I smiled at her. With my hands clasped together, I swirled my chair from side to side. My soon to be sister-in-law was too adorable when she looked all confused. Being a tease, I wanted to have fun with her and make her blush. After all, that’s what brother-in-laws were for. “Would you like to come in and get debriefed on the meeting you missed?”
“Sure.” Jenna tugged at her skirt. From my perspective, it looked like she was making sure she was presentable.
I chuckled to myself , getting ready to interrogate her in a playful way. She had no idea what was coming. I cleared my throat. “How was your meeting with Max?”
Pulling out a chair next to mine, Jenna’s eyes grew wide. Without eye contact, she murmured, “Great. It was very...short.” Jenna reached inside of her bag and removed a folder and pen. She was all ready.
“Short?” I questioned . “Max usually takes his time, making sure every section of the meeting is covered.” I emphasized the word every . “He likes to take his time, making sure he is diligent in every sense of the meeting. At least that’s what he told me.”
Jenna’s cheek s turned slightly red. “He does...I mean …”
When she paused, I continued , “After all, meetings can get boring if it’s the same topic over and over. Sometimes we need to present standing up, behind, or perhaps on the desk.”
A small cough choked out of her mouth. Finally with eye contact, she gave me the slyest smile. I think she was catching on to what I was doing.
“I have to agree with you. Who wants to be in a boring meeting? You can make it even more entertaining by getting down on your knees.”
Holy shit! Did she say what I thought she said? Jenna confirmed it when she turned away shyly. I was succeeding in making her blush, but I wondered if she saw my cheeks flare up?
“You know,” she continu ed. “After you open the meeting, if you give it the right tender, loving strokes, you can make the long, hard meeting pleasurable.”
Fu ck! I would never in a million years have thought those words would come out of her mouth. Jenna did have that feisty, wild beast in her. I was completely blown away by how our conversation had taken a twist. She was making me blush big time.
“Well ...I’m happy to hear that you had a successful meeting this morning.” At this point, I had no idea what I was trying to say.
“Will that be all, Mr. Knight ?” She gave me a warm smile with a soft laugh.
I let out a chuckle. “Yes. This was quite interesting. I was very surprised by your descriptions, or should I say...your choice of words.”
“Oh , you have no idea. Your brother brings out the beast in me.” Jenna winked and headed out the door. Twisting the knob to turn, she looked over her shoulder to me. “Thanks for locking the door when you left.” Her words came out bashful and tender. With a warm smile, she left.

Heading back to the office, my mind reeled from my conversation with Matthew. He wanted to toy with me and make me blush big time, but it backfired. That sneaky Matthew. I had to admit, it was fun surprising him with my comebacks. Yup, I really like the new me.
