in my purse, my hands trembling.  He shut the door, then leaned against it casually.  I understood by his action that he wasn’t walking me up to the door, and for reasons I can’t explain the thought bothered me.  Taking a few more breaths, trying to build up my confidence, I finally walked up the stairs to the entrance.  I knocked after long seconds of staring at the door, and hoped I wasn’t making the worst decision of my life.

    Limits
Seth looked so sexy standing in the doorframe.  His thick, curly hair was damp, like he’d just gotten out of the shower and he was dressed in a dark grey pair of sweats and white t-shirt.  He looked nothing like the billionaire I knew he was, and the casual dress made me feel a hundred times more confident.  He held the door open for me with a look in his bedroom blue eyes that left me breathless.
“You look beautiful, Caitlin.”  The way his eyes roamed over my body made me almost feel it, and I lowered my head somewhat embarrassed by his perusal.  His low growl pulled my attention back to his face, and the need written there floored me.
“Um. Thank you.”  He had to stop looking at me that way.  Those eyes were smoldering in their heat, making me want him again.
Taking my hand abruptly, he pulled me inside, startling me in the suddenness of the movement.  “Let’s get this talk over, so I can enjoy you properly.”
What?  Seth was a man who could have any woman he wanted, yet here he was acting like it was me he was craving.  I allowed him to pull me along like an errant child, not sure I could speak much less pull any thought out of my overwhelmed mind.
We walked up the staircase and back into his study, and he dropped my hand abruptly so he could move behind the huge antique desk to sit.  He motioned to the chair in front of it, and I followed his silent request, finding my seat.
“I’m not going to make you sign anything, because as you reminded me, it would never hold up in court.  We’ll talk and if you have any questions or concerns then now would be the time to ask them.  I don’t think I need to say this out loud, but for your benefit, I will.  What happens here is between us and if you speak of it to anyone, I will deny everything.  Do you understand?”
I nodded, not really understanding anything, but wanting to seem less ignorant.
“Words, Caitlin.  You will use them, and I’ll punish you if you don’t.  That’s where we’ll start this.  I have needs that I expect to be met, and there are times I’ll ask your opinion.  You’ll know when that is because I’ll ask a question.”
“Punish me how?” The whole, he had needs thing, we could get back to, but I needed to understand how he would act if I didn’t do what he wanted.
“However I see fit.  I promised you that you’d leave this relationship without any lasting scars, and I never break my word.”
“That’s a little vague.”  It was a lot vague and told me nothing about the things he had the ability to do to me.
“I suppose it is, but I’m a in the moment type of person, and I believe the punishment should fit the action.  You’ll learn to trust that I’ll know what you can and cannot handle.”
“I’m not sure I’m okay with that, but for now I guess we can talk about what you expect.” My curiosity got the better of me and I wondered what really made him tick.
“My needs are pretty basic.  Do what I tell you without hesitation, and you’ll never have to discover what punishment could be.”  He sat back in his desk chair calmly, a small smirk finding his full lips.
That was all I had to do?  Without thought, I rolled my eyes and saw his facial expression change from egotistical to anger.  “That’s one thing you need to learn to stop now.  Rolling your eyes at me is a guarantee that I’ll take you over my knee again.”
The spanking he’d given me hadn’t been that horrible and I found my face breaking into
