started to slide his fingers through her hair. “I want to remove some of this
hair when I get my hands on a razor. Will you let me?”
“Yes, if you promise not to cut me.”
“Don’t you know by now that I’ll take care of all of
your needs?” He returned his grip to her hip and walked her back. Once the
backs of her knees hit the bed she sat down. “Actually, will you trust me to go
and get that razor? I don’t want to leave you alone, but I also want you to
feel everything I can do to you.”
“You want to leave?” she asked.
“I’ll be back. I’ll lock the door, and all you have to
do is sit here and wait. There’s a shop down the street, and I forgot to get
rubbers, babe. I can’t fuck you without a condom. You could get pregnant.” He
groaned, dropping his head onto her leg. “Fuck, you make me want you so much
that I’ve forgot to get condoms.”
She chuckled. “Okay, erm, could I lie on the bed while
you’re gone?”
    “Sure.”
He helped her onto the bed then kissed her lips. “I’ll
be back before you know it.”
    ****
Sasha heard the door go and then silence. “That’s it,
he’s gone. He’s gone, and I’m lying on a bed talking to myself because I’m
going insane. No one is here, and I’ve got nothing to say.”
Running her hands across the bedding she tried to
bring some focus to her little world. One morning with Pussy and she’d left
Piston County behind. Had Pussy claimed her? She didn’t understand what any of
this meant. Holding her hands in front of her, she thought about the feel of
his body underneath his touch. He’d been hard, each ridge of his muscles
outlined against her palm.
Silence filled the gap in between her talking. She
hated this. If she had her sight she’d be able to watch television or sit
beside the window looking out at the night. Her vision was a constant, never
ending night.
    Would he come back?
Over the years Kenneth had made her believe that she
was a nuisance. Even her own mother didn’t want to know her. Her mother spent
most of her time at the bottom of a bottle or throwing down some pills rather
than spend time with her. Every now and then, the old mother she knew would
appear with food and conversation. Whatever Kenneth said was a lie.
Push them aside. Stop thinking about either of them. They’re nothing right now.
She did her best to ignore them and focused on the
silence that surrounded her. In no time at all, the door was opening. “I’ve got
the stuff I need, baby.”
The door closed, and more shuffling happened.
“Shit, I should have left the television on, shouldn’t
I? Fuck. I’m so sorry.”
Sasha giggled. “You don’t have to keep apologizing.
I’m more than capable of looking after myself. I didn’t get into any trouble lying
here.”
“Still, I’m going to have to learn to take care of
you.”
The bed dipped, and she let out a yelp. “Fuck, I’m
just sitting beside you.”
She nodded, reaching out but coming against air.
“Here, I’m here.” Pussy took hold of her hand and
placed it on his body.
“You’re there.” She touched his body and frowned.
“You’re naked?”
“I didn’t have time to put clothes on. I wanted to get
the stuff and get back to you. I forgot to put a shirt on. It doesn’t matter.
The guy at the store didn’t charge me much. I think he was too busy ogling my
hot bod,” he said.
Chuckling, she squeezed his arm. She really did love
the feel of his skin in her hands, and she told him so.
“See, you only want me for my
body,” Pussy said.
“No, I want you for more.” She did her best to smile.
“I’m going to kiss you now.” The bed creaked under his
weight.
    “Okay.”
His fingers slid over her cheek, and his palm went to
the pillow at the side of her head. At first his lips grazed hers, showing her
where he was. “I’m close to you now.” His tongue caressed her lips, and she
opened her mouth.
Meeting his tongue with her own, she kissed him deeply.
