about Leo, he's not exactly the same either. What is up with those two? Why could it be so bad between them and why is everyone just finding out about it now?
I don't finish work until 5:00, so Jax collects him from school and takes him back to my house so he can be ready for dinner at Rhys and Sophie’s when I finish work.
When I get home I quickly change out of my work clothes in a daze. I've been stressing myself about Tanya all day. I've text her to ask what's bothering her but all she says is it's nothing. I'm not buying it and when I'm ready we leave in Jax's big car. I think Jax said it was a Mercedes. I like it a lot better than his Aston Martin.
When we pull up outside Rhys and Sophie's beautiful home Finley is way too excited. Before we get out the car Jax turns to look at me.
    "Are you OK babe?"
    "Yeah."
He gives me that look that tells me he isn't buying it.
"Alright. I'm worried about Tanya. She wants to go out tomorrow night but I'm just worried about her. She's not herself."
    Jax frowns.
"Yeah I know what you mean. Leo's the same."
He places his hand on top of mine and gives it a reassuring squeeze.
"They will sort it out. Stop worrying."
"Mummy! Daddy! I wanna get out now!"
We both smile and turn to look at Finley in the back. He’s trying to get out of his seatbelt and frowning at us. As soon as Jax lets Finley out he goes running straight into Rhys outstretched arms shouting “Uncle Rhys”.

Three hours later, Jax is driving me and Finley home after a huge dinner that Sophie cooked. There was way too much food. Not that the guys and Finley were bothered, they tried their best to eat every last bite. It's really quiet in the car because as soon as Jax started to drive Finley fell asleep.
"So you looking forward to your girls night?"
I knew that was bothering him, I saw his body slightly tense when Sophie told Rhys about Tanya's text. At dinner Rhys and Jax had both taken an interest in our night out. They told us we were to take John and Paul. I wasn't having that.
"No way. It's supposed to be a girls night."
Jax gave me a stern look.
"Kendal you and Sophie have been getting attention lately. We want you to be safe so you will be taking them with you."
    Sophie groaned.
"This isn't going to be much of a girls night and I doubt the girls will be impressed."
Rhys smiled at Sophie, unlike the intense look I was getting from Jax.
"They will be in the background. You won't even notice them."
I hold back my scoff. John and Paul are huge, bulky men. There's no way they can blend into the background but they get their own way and the men in suits have to babysit us.
Now I turn to look at Jax driving. I don't know why he's so bothered about me going out. I'm not stupid and I have been out before. Does he expect me to stay in all the time? Definitely not. Finley is at my parents tomorrow night, so I want a night out with my girls and that's what I am going to do.
"Yep. Tanya says she needs it and I'm looking forward to it."
    He slowly nods his head.
"Rhys rang up the club called Blitz. You're in the V.I.P area for the night."
    "V.I.P?"
Why has he put us in V.I.P? Maybe Rhys rang up the club but I bet it was Jax who suggested it.
    "It will be safer."
This makes me so mad. He is stomping all over girls night!
"Jax this is ridiculous. We're taking the men in black, isn't that enough?"
He frowns out the window, not taking his eyes off the road.
"I won't risk your safety Kendal. People will be drinking and some people can get a bit too friendly when you're a familiar face. You will all have unlimited drinks and your own private dance floor. You will still have your girls night, just now Rhys and I won't be worrying back home about you."
Apart from the entire safety lecture, the unlimited drinks and our own dance floor did sound great. Plus Blitz is the best club in town, I can't really argue.
"Well I'll have to run it by Tan because it was her night."
I see the corner of his mouth
