every level. How could I have resisted him for so long? Now that she’d had him, it made her resistance seem so silly. He lowered his head and brushed his lips against hers in a gentle touch that seared her mouth and made it tingle when he pulled away.
“They told you?” he asked, worry in his onyx gaze.
She nodded. “I think what you need is more sex, but in a place that can give you room to shift if you need to. We’re thinking sex on the motorcycle.” Louisa smiled as she remembered Brent’s statement about sex on the bike.
“The parking lot.” His voice grew huskier, with a darker, wicked edge that made her think of all the ways he could fuck her on there. “We can do that. Who won the draw?” Amusement floated across his face.
“Brent. He’ll be there to keep me safe.” She watched pain skitter across his face. She hated to see him so wounded by the need to have someone to keep him in check, but it was necessary. “And after it can be just us.” She didn’t know where that had come from, but she wanted to show him she did trust him, that he wasn’t a threat to her in the least.
    “You don’t need to—”
She placed two fingers against his lips. “I want to.” Louisa really did want to explore this attraction she had to him.
His grin dazzled her, a flash of straight white teeth with slightly longer, sharper canines. If she hadn’t known he was a dragon, she would have thought he was a werewolf or feline shifter. They normally had longer canines than the average human or witch. “Thank you.” He kissed her fingers and then grabbed her hand. “Let’s go. “
They entered the main area. She could feel his body heat increase. A glance up at his face showed his eyes had become red, glittering with challenge. His arms shook, and his grip on her hand increased almost to the point of pain. She didn’t let go. Instead she ran a hand over his arm, trying to soothe him and the dragon. “It’s okay. They’re here to help.”
Despite the words, she knew the animal couldn’t see that. Both men were threats to her and him. They could take his mate. Predatory need and anger battled on his face. She wasn’t sure how to make it stop or calm him down except to keep telling him that it was okay.
“We’re not here to hurt you, dude.” Brent strode forward. “We’re here to have fun and give Louisa a night she’ll never forget. It’s almost midnight. Let’s restart this party. Come on.” Brent didn’t wait for a response. He left the room through the kitchen doors. All Louisa could do was tug on Tor’s hand and lead him to the parking lot and her bike.
Fletcher stayed behind. He’d brought out his laptop and was typing away. “Don’t worry about me. Just looking things up. Have fun.”
She didn’t doubt that he was relieved not to be on Tor duty.

    Chapter Five
Tor followed Louisa and Brent out to the parking lot. A slight chill in the air did nothing to cool his ardor. The fireworks burst over them in a splatter of various colors, and the sound boomed as people sang loudly and mostly off key. With the scent of so many people drifting through the air, it took some concentration to find Louisa’s scent among it all.
He watched the graceful sway of her hips and the rise and fall of her buttocks. A bolt of lust hit him the stomach. His dragon lifted its neck and blinked at him. Hunger clawed at his stomach as the fire ratcheted up a few notches. His skin seemed to be too tight. It felt as if he were engulfed in fire. Tor took the lead, striding past her to the motorcycle. He needed to be inside her.
She rushed after him, her feet slapping against the ground. Brent had already put in the key and turned the motorcycle on. The bike revved. A thrill raced down his spine. Brent took his place at the front of the bike.
“I think I should be here, Louisa should be between us, and Tor at the end,” Brent suggested.
Tor didn’t care so long as he sank into Louisa’s tight
