didn’t come off the hinges. “I didn’t say I didn’t like it. Don’t you remember what Adrian said about being connected to me?”
“Yeah, I remember his saying something like that, what does that have to do with anything?”
“I could feel your need to be sated from the other side of the mansion. Do you have any idea what it feels like to have someone needing to be fucked as bad as you do and to try to be a decent male and let her come to you when she is ready?”
“What do you mean you could feel my need? Does that mean anytime I’m turned on you will know and feel the need to come and sate me?”
“Since my blood is now in your veins, I can now feel all your emotions and be able to find you whenever I want. I could feel how aroused you were and your need for release. And yes, anytime you need me, I will need to be there.”
“How close do you have to be to feel me?”
“There is no distance your need cannot cross to find me.”
“What if it isn’t you I need?”
Even with the water hot enough to cause the mirrors to steam up, the temperature dropped and goose bumps popped up all over her body. He stalked into the shower, clothes and all. She could see her breath. He wrapped one hand around the nape of her neck and the other around her throat. He wasn’t hurting her, but there was no hope of her moving without him letting her. “Get this right, right now, female. You. Will. Want. No . One . But me. Ever again. Any other male that comes near you or you feel that you need will not see his next breath. You will only be with me from now on. You were made for me and no one else.”
“So can you feel all girls’ needs like that or am I just special?” Her voice was dripping with sarcasm. She didn’t even flinch. He looked very serious when he had grabbed her by the throat, and he was probably trying to make sure she knew that she would put any other male in danger just by being near him. She wasn’t intimidated. She just looked up at him like they were having this conversation over tea instead of her naked in the shower with his hands wrapped around her neck.
He tightened his grip and lifted her off the shower floor by her neck. He held her there, not tight enough to cut off her airway, just tight enough to let her know how serious he was. “Did you hear what I said? Any male that comes near you will die by my hands.”
“Yeah, I heard you. So what about your friend, Adrian?”
“I will kill anyone that comes near him, too.”
“That’s what I thought. So why didn’t you kill us both in the bedroom just now? He was definitely touching me, and since you can sense my needs, you could probably tell I was needy and more than willing to take whatever he wanted to offer in there. Is that why he stopped, or did he just not want an audience?”
“Trust me, neither of us is shy or has inhibitions with having an audience. The reason I did not hurt either of you and let what went on happen is because there is something about you that we both seem to need. It’s hard to explain, and I still haven’t figured it out, but I’m working on it.”
“How long is it gonna take for you to figure it out, and how long are you going to keep me here?”
“I don’t know yet, and as long as you’ll stay.”
“So does that mean I’m free to go if I want to?”
“If that is your wish. But know this—you will not be leaving without both of us with you. I’m not sure how or why, but the three of us belong together, and we will be.”
She put her hands on his wrists. “I don’t wanna go anywhere. I was just asking.” She licked her lips and stared at his lips. “Now that we have that established, either let go of my neck or kiss me.”
She wasn’t afraid of him. If anything she was more turned on now than before he had found her in the shower touching herself.

He couldn’t believe she was real and that he had finally found her. He knew somehow she was made for him and Adrian, but
