To access programming from your Apple TV, simply follow these instructions for each category of rental or purchase.
    Purchasing Television Programming
Select TV Shows from the main Apple TV menu.
Choose Top TV Shows, Genius, Genres, TV Networks, or Search for Programming by Name
Find a TV show you would like to purchase and select it. You will have the option to add the show to your Favorites, buy all episodes (a season), or you can purchase individual episodes.
    Renting or Purchasing Movie Content
Sign in to the iTunes Store. From the main Apple TV menu, choose Settings > iTunes Store.
Note: If your location and iTunes account already appear here, skip to the next section. If not, Select Location. Scroll to highlight your location and select it. Press the Menu button on the remote once to return to the previous screen.
Select Sign in.
Enter your Apple ID and password.
Note: You must have an iTunes account to use these services. If you do not have an Apple ID, create one using iTunes on your computer.
Apple TV will give you the option to remember your password. Select Yes if you want to save the password, select no if you want all movie rentals and purchases to be password protected.
Press and hold the Menu button to return to the main Apple TV menu.
    To Rent (or Purchase)
Select Movies from the main Apple TV menu.
Choose one of the following categories to begin finding movies:
    •         Top Movies
    •         Genius
    •         Genres
    •         Search
Find a movie you would like to rent (or purchase) and select it.
Click Rent or Purchase.
No matter what you are watching or listening to, you can add restrictions to your rental and purchasing options by setting security measures that will keep others from using your account as they see fit. When setting up your Apple TV, you may be asked if you want to save your password: Click "No." This will create a barrier for anyone who does not have the password from downloaded content that will be charged to your iTunes account.

Movie & TV Show Playback Options
When watching any rented or purchased TV show or movie from the iTunes store you can use the touchpad on the Siri remote to access additional information or settings. Simply swipe down on your touchpad. This should reveal a menu at the top of your screen with “Info,” “Subtitles” and “Audio.” You can choose any of these options to either get info on the selection you’re watching, or to adjust the settings for subtitles or audio.

Also during playback of movies or TV shows, the play/pause button can be pressed to pause whatever you may be viewing. You’ll also notice a small icon on the lower right area of the screen (or near your current spot on the movie’s timeline). You can use this in order to go back 10 seconds on the current selection you’re viewing. Use this action in case you missed some dialogue or a scene and want to get a quick replay. Simply press and hold to the left on your touchpad or swipe to the left to move back.
You also can press and hold down the microphone button on your Siri remote to make requests to Siri for the media such as “Pause,” “Play,” “Go back ten seconds” or “Go forward one minute.”

Music Playback Options
Once you’ve logged into your iTunes and/or iCloud accounts on your Apple TV, music playback is a breeze. This is especially true if you’ve purchased music selections from iTunes, as many will be automatically stored in iCloud, Apple’s online storage space.

To play music, simply select the Music icon on the home screen. You can choose any of the following options:
Apple Music – Apple’s monthly subscription streaming music service.
Radio – Free radio stations to listen to from various genres via iTunes.
My Music – All of your available music, whether in the iCloud or via Home Sharing from a computer’s iTunes library.
Playlists – Use this area to get to all available
