come into her mouth and Oden coming from behind her. He exploded into her, and she felt him dripping from her.
They all collapsed into a pile on the floor, spent. She could hear the other shifters around her making love to their mates also, but she didn’t care. She had never been so happy in all of her life. She knew at that moment that she would love the Denmark brothers forever, as long as they would have her at least.
Like he was reading her mind, Cal turned to her and spoke, “Erin, I love you more than I have ever loved another woman in my life.”
She felt the tears starting to rise. She started to speak, but Oden spoke first.
He looked at her and said, “And I too Erin, I love you now and I will forever.”
It was more than she could take, she embraced both men and started to cry as she spoke, “I love you too, and I always will.”
They kissed passionately. They knew that their love was unique and that they would spend forever together as a pack and as mates.

Saved By The Wolf

Chapter 1

The apple in her hand had wrinkled skin and a wax-coated shine.  When she bit into it, the meat was mealy and the juice going sour.  Part of her regretted this choice, a gas station Gala apple instead of a bag of chips, but she closed her eyes to take another bite.
    Just pretend it’s fresh
, she told herself.  A fresh Granny Smith, not entirely ripe, plucked sun-warm off the tree in the early days of fall.  Where she lived with her parents had fruit trees in plenty, cherries and plums and green apples.  She loved the summer months, competing with birds for the swelling plums, crisp flesh snapping between her teeth.  Her youth saw her thin and beautiful, much-desired and a sought-after object of desire by all the boys; she remembered a flowery spring skirt blowing in the wind around her smooth thighs, and the high school Senior who approached her as soon as the breeze died down and he could remember to speak.
And now here she was, 700 miles away, a bushel of apples heavier, three years later, out of time and out of money.
Kori was running away, had been running away for weeks now, parceling out a handful of dollars as long as she could.  Her last fifty cents spent on a crappy apple, and now she couldn’t even afford the pay restrooms.
Pretend it’s good.  Pretend it’s okay.
Tears stung her eyes beneath her closed eyelids, every dreadful mouthful sinking to the bottom of her stomach.  She sat on the curb in front of the convenience store, her knees drawn up as she watched families and couples stride by her perch with no regard for her stained clothes or the mussed state of her hair.  No one noticed.  No one cared.  No one spared her a hello or even a taunt.  The no-taunting thing surprised her the most.  Years of nothing but, and now she was at her absolute worst and no one would spare her a look long enough to tell her she was disgusting?
Was she disgusting?  She didn’t know anymore.  She was too tired to care.
Cars flowed in and out of the parking lot as the sun sank down toward the red Nevada horizon, circling the gas pumps like buzzards around the corpses of long-dead dinosaurs.  People came, people left.  An employee stood uncomfortably close, stepping on her hand once as he smoked.  He gave no apology, and she expected none.  With Reno only a stone’s throw in the distance, these people had no time for someone as sedentary as Kori was right then.  Life moved on around her, without her, just as it had since the day she started dating Jason.
The apple was only a core in her hand now, rimmed with seeds.  She stared down at the seeds and vaguely recalled a bit of trivia:  apple seeds have cyanide in them.  Would it be enough, she wondered.  Could it ever be enough?
Weariness settled in her bones.  Maybe if she had dissected Jason’s behavior on their first date, the way she dissected this pathetic
