a yes. It moves well, don’t it?”
I blushed from their conversation and put my hands over my face. “Hey, keep the guy talk away from me. I don’t want you two doing comparisons or something. Yes, you both seen me naked, and yes you both had sex with me multiple times.”
“Yeah, but I had her first,” Chad chimed in.
I walked out of the room, embarrassed and shocked. With my head in my hands, I sat on the couch. I didn’t want Giovanni to know everything we had done.
“I’m sorry, baby.” Chad sat next to me and draped an arm around my shoulders. “I was just playing around. Guys say shit like that all the time.” He kissed the top of my head. “I love you, Crystal. I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
I looked up at him, tears still falling. “What we did was private. I don’t want you broadcasting it. I trusted you. How could you tell Giovanni that?”
“Crystal, I already knew. It was obvious,” Giovanni said as he knelt down at my feet, wearing boxers. “That was one of the reasons I assumed you didn’t feel the same way about me.” He took my hands in his. “It doesn’t matter what you did with Chad. All that matters is you’re mine now.”
Suddenly, I threw my arms around him. “I’m so sorry!” I cried out as the guilt overwhelmed me. “It just happened.”
Giovanni pulled away and grasped my arms gently. “What? What happened?” He waited a few seconds before asking. “Crystal, what could you have to be sorry for?”
I looked at him, tears falling, fast. “I didn’t mean to hurt you,” I said between sobs. “I was so out of it. I thought he was you at first. I love you. I’m so sorry.”
“You’re kidding, right?” Giovanni let go of me and stood up. “Did you really fuck my girlfriend?” Giovanni grabbed Chad and stood him up. Giovanni didn’t seem to care about their height difference.
Chad fumbled for words, “Um… uh…”
“Did you?” He let Chad go and walked away a bit. Then he looked at me. “Is that what happened, or am I wrong?”
“I did.” Chad’s eyes opened wide as Giovanni came towards him. “I’m sorry, Giovanni. I was so drunk.”
Giovanni punched Chad in the face. He fell to the floor, blood coming from his mouth. “I'm gonna kill you!” Giovanni shouted. He grabbed Chad and hit him again. “You son of a bitch!”
Still crying, I got up. “Stop it, please!”
Chad had his hands up, trying to stop Giovanni’s blows. “Baby, I deserve it. Ow… Fuck!” He groaned as Giovanni connected with his ribs.
I had to do something, but didn’t know what.
“You motherfuckin’ asshole,” Giovanni growled as he punched Chad’s temple. “I told you to keep your fucking hands off her!”
Suddenly, I screamed, “I wanted him instead of you!” The room instantly fell silent.
Giovanni turned around, his mouth agape, “You what?” He came to me and grabbed me tightly by the arms. With a horrified look in his eyes, he shook me hard. “You been lying to me!” He shook me again. “How many times have you done him? You fucking bitch!”
I realized what a stupid thing that was to say. “No, please.” The look in his eyes was frightening.
“She’s lying and you know it!” Chad yelled. “We were just drunk and confused.”
Then Giovanni pushed me down on the couch. He glanced at Chad then scowled at me before clutching my arms again.
“Please don’t hurt me!” I cried even harder.
His expression changed quickly. “Oh, God, I’m sorry.” He crouched down and picked up my hands as I trembled. “I didn’t mean to scare you.” There were tears in his eyes.
    “I’m sorry.” I started sobbing.
Chad was still on the floor. “I’m sorry too, man. I was so drunk…”
“You’re still here?” Giovanni roared. He stood up. “Get the fuck outta here!”
Chad got up. “Let me get my keys.” He backed away from Giovanni slowly and grabbed a pile of stuff on an end table. “Baby, I’m sorry.”
    Giovanni grabbed a picture
