need more to do around here. A lot of the patients already know you so they’re reluctant to come to me.”
“Hey, you won over that little girl the other day with the clown nose.” She waggled her eyebrows and Zach felt himself flush.
“Well, a doctor without patients is like a ship without an ocean. In time I’m hoping to win more of them over, though I refuse to resort to wearing a giant sponge costume, or the fairy getup.”
She laughed, leaning back in her chair, looking more relaxed than he’d seen her since he arrived. Usually she was so busy with work, cleaning, cooking, or pissing him off that her undivided attention gave him incentive to keep moving forward with his idea.
“As I said, I don’t have much work to do around here at the moment. I can take care of the books and look into the medical assistance forms. I’d also like to do a bit of advertising--my treat--and try to get some other patients coming in here. Though you have a hefty load for yourself, we can balance it out with some new ones I can take.”
“I’m assuming these will be paying customers?”
“Sam, if we lived a few hundred years ago I’d be perfectly okay with the barter system. I’m not asking you to give up what you’re doing, only allowing me to do my own thing.”
She threw up her hands in surrender. “Actually, that sounds really good. I’m tired of worrying about bills and, though I’d never turn someone away, I like the fact that you want to attract new clients and help our current ones try to get some medical insurance. We make a good team.” She stood up, grabbed him by the front of his shirt and kissed him hard.
Just as quickly she let him go and walked upstairs. “You hungry?”
Zach gulped hard and glanced at the clock on the wall. “It’s only three. Dinner isn’t for a couple of hours.”
“Who said anything about food?” She crooked her finger and motioned for him to follow her. Everything in Zach’s head warned him to stay put, but he was completely caught off guard and didn’t have the good sense to say no. Instead, he felt like a fish on the end of a line, being reeled right in by this woman.
Eh, what the hell. He was sick and tired of avoiding further intimacy between he and Sam. “Come to think of it, I’m actually famished.”
He saw her eyes light up and a smile claim her pretty face. “Well, Dr. Zacharia Ichabod Taylor, I think I have just what you need.” He walked up to her and she kissed him again, tunneling her fingers through his hair. Her hands wandered to his ass, pulling him closer to her. She then broke off the kiss, took his hand, and they went upstairs to her bedroom.
Once they crossed the threshold Zach allowed himself to be led easily over to the bed. The room smelled of her; an exotic blend of her perfume and her own natural scent that filled his lungs and went straight to his head like a double shot of Everclear. They stood near her bed, the backs of his legs pressed against the side of the mattress and she kissed him again, thrusting her tongue against his wildly. He tried letting her make all the moves, but he found himself far too aroused and hot for her.
Zach reached around and found the round curves of the ass he’d been admiring since they met. Cupping the mounds, he savored the softness, squeezing her lightly. Pulling her closer, he pushed against her, letting her feel his throbbing erection through the barrier of their clothes. She made a noise that sounded like a cat purring and she ground her pelvis against him. Zach’s cock was so hard he wasn’t sure how long the heavy cloth of his slacks would hold before his dick tore right through.
As she ran her hands over his chest, Zach gasped both in shock and delight as she ripped his shirt open so she could roam her palms over his pecs and abs. Though he worked out daily for health reasons, he couldn’t deny that he wanted to look good and feel good to this woman. As she whispered against the side of his
