that.
“How about a partnership then?” he said seriously.  “If you’re uncomfortable with the full responsibility.  You and Alex?  You could own it together.”  He could see the cogs were turning inside that pretty head of hers.  “There’s no right or wrong answer, Mackenzie.  Just tell me you’ll think about it.”
“It’s not something I’ve ever contemplated before.  But yes, I’ll think about it.”  She popped a grape in her mouth.
    “Promise?”
She nodded while chewing, then swallowed.  “Why does this mean so much to you?”
“Because you do.  I want to make you happy.”  He pressed a kiss to her forehead before pulling back with a cheeky grin and adding, “Besides, when you marry me it’ll be half mine by default.”
She bit her lip in contemplation.  “You wouldn’t be considering this if it wasn’t a good investment, right?”
She was deflecting, they both knew it.  The truth of the matter was she was warming to the idea of being Mrs. Nathaniel Pierce.  More than that, she was beginning to believe it was inevitable.   At the same time, she didn’t want to appear hypocritical when she’d always been so adamantly against marriage.  She was stubborn.
“I think you are a good investment.”  He kissed her quickly on the lips.  “I noticed you didn’t argue when I said you’ll marry me.”
“Oh you noticed that, huh?” she said, draping her arms over his shoulders.
“I did.  It means I’m wearing you down.  I’ll have your finger in my ring in no time.”
    “Now that sounds kinky.”
“I’ll show you kinky,” he said, pulling her from her thoughts.  He held a grape in front of her face, before sucking it into his mouth and leaning in for a kiss.  He passed the grape into her mouth with his tongue.
“Wait.”  She pushed him back gently by the shoulders.  “You’re really serious about this?” she asked while she chewed.
“Which part?  Buying The Blue Room, you marrying me or the kinky bit?”  He leaned down and ran his tongue along her neck.  “I’m completely serious about all of it, papillon,” he whispered.  “But for now, let’s go with kinky.”  He sunk his teeth in just below her ear causing Mackenzie to yelp before pulling back suddenly, with an excited glint in his eyes.  “I’m suddenly feeling very hungry.”  Mackenzie watched him grab a bowl of chocolate mousse from the fridge.  She leaned down to the drawer by her leg and got out a couple of spoons.  “We won’t be needing those.”
“What?” she asked distractedly.  Her thoughts were still kind of stuck on the whole ‘he’s buying me a bar’ scenario.  She didn’t look up until he took the spoons from her hand.
“I said we don’t need spoons.”  He placed them back in the drawer and then began undoing her shirt buttons. He pressed another quick kiss to her lips.
    “Oh, that kind of hungry.”
“Uh-huh.”  He pushed the material off her shoulders and then unhooked her bra and slowly slid it from her body, watching those damn goose bumps appear before dropping it to the floor.  He heard her shoes drop too, but his focus was on her heavy breasts when her nipples formed tight peaks.  He reached over to the bowl and dipped a finger into the dessert; scooping the small amount into his mouth and licking his finger.  “Mmm, want some?”
“Please.”  She loved the mousse that Hilda made them yesterday, had she known there were leftovers she probably would have eaten it today.  Watching ‘Sir’ suck on his finger, before dipping it back in the dessert bowl, she was quietly pleased that she hadn’t known.
“Close your eyes and open your mouth,” he instructed.  “Leave your hands where they are on the counter.”  He wiped a small amount of the mousse on her bottom lip but quickly removed his finger when she tried to close her mouth around it.  His cock hardened watching her lick her lips clean.  Moving his hand lower, he wiped
