a child. There was no room for finger pointing she was punishing herself enough. Her father on the other hand did express his disdain at her decision to not fill the father in on his pending parenthood. She may have Damon as the fill in but it still wasn’t right to leave the other half out altogether. Deciding to send him a text message instead to see if he would at least give her call, she waited. The return message was enough to come to the conclusion that she would be a single mother like so many others. She texted that they needed to discuss the results of her tests and the message she received said that she needed to ‘HANDLE IT.’
Not that she expected him to be overly excited but she didn’t think in million years he would be so cold about it. In her eyes ‘handle it’ meant she needed to get rid of it and that she wasn’t going to do no matter who the father was. He wasn’t running shit her way. She knew she would never see him again considering that she wasn’t out and about like that. Of course her two money grubbing associates started to question whether the child was B.A.’s and she just denied it to save face. Plus she knew how they operated, they might try and sale the story to the press or something. That’s all she needed was to look like a money grubbing bimbo because all fingers will point straight at her if the story was leaked. Soon they started to point fingers at Damon but neither of them denied it so that’s what they ran with.
Everything was going perfect until the day she was face to face with the one whom she had been hoping she wouldn’t have to see again. The anger that radiated off of him was scary as hell. She didn’t understand why he was so upset, he told her to handle it and in her thoughts she did. By excluding him as her baby’s father, she handled it. When he said he would be at her house when she got off she thought about running for the hills but thought better of it. The consequences would only be worst if she avoided the confrontation awaiting her. Pulling up to her house she didn’t see any signs of company so she rushed in to take a quick shower and got comfortable in her lounge pants with matching tank top. No sooner than she put her comfy socks on her doorbell rang signaling his arrival or the Chinese food she ordered.
“Looks like I’m right on time.” Barron stated cryptically. Mya stepped out of the way to let him pass over the threshold. “Where do you want me to put the food?”
“Just sit it on the table. Thanks.”
    “You’re welcome.”
“Would you like something to drink?”
“Yeah just bring me whatever is fine.”
    “You hungry?”
“All this is for you. I thought maybe you ordered for me too.”
“How would I do that I don’t know anything about you let alone what you like to eat?” Mya tried to be snappy but it didn’t come out like she wanted. She was finding it hard to be mean to him.
“Well lucky for you we have similar taste buds when it comes to Chinese food because these are some of my favorites.” He chuckled at her failed attempt. She passed him a plate and fork. They ate in silence for a few minutes before she got self-conscience because Barron kept staring in her direction.
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
“I never knew the glow that people say they see was real but now I see that it is. How have you been?”
“Okay I guess. I have my days where I’m perfectly fine with no sickness and others where I can’t keep anything down. The excessive sleeping is starting to get better. How have you been?”
“Good. I’ve been on the road for the past three months.” She nodded her head. “Let’s cut the bullshit Mya.”
    “Let’s.”
“Is that my baby you are carrying?” At Barron’s question Mya scrunched her eyebrows at him before squinting her eyes as she laughed without a hint of humor.
“Fuck you Barron!” Mya exclaimed. “How dare you ask me something like that?”
    “Fuck me? Got-damn
