asked.
    “Yep,”
“Must be the best job in the world,”
“Nope, sucks shit. I have to sit in the bus while the girls are out doing the show. My life is driving, gassing and more driving.”
“If you sit in the bus while the show is going on, who makes sure the girls are safe?” Melvin asked.
“That would be security,” the man replied. “Don’t suppose you know someone who needs a job?” the driver asked. “Our security guy is in jail.”
“Did he kick the ass of some guy getting out of line?” Melvin asked.
“No, he got caught with twenty pounds of cocaine stuffed in the storage compartment of the bus three days ago. We got pulled over by the state patrol and the dog hit on his stash. Had to cancel a show because of that bastard and now we don’t have a security guy.”
“It just so happens I’m looking for work right now, what’s all involved?”
“When the girls are on stage, you make sure nobody touches them. If they do, you kick their ass.”
“Don’t these places have bouncers?” Melvin asked.
“Never trust a local bouncer from a club. They never pay attention or do the right thing. That’s why we provide our own.”
“Sounds like an easy job to me,” Melvin replied.
“That’s not all of it.” When the girls run out of Tampax, you have to get more, if they need bra’s and make up, you get that too. Basically your job title is security, but your job is to be a slave to these bitches. They’re the ones making the money for your paycheck.”
    “What’s the pay?”
“$250 a week plus a sleeping bag on the floor of the bus.”
“All I have is what I have with me now,” Melvin stated pointing to his dirty clothes.
“Better than the last guy, he was a fucking loser,” the driver replied. “What’s your name?” the driver asked. Melvin thought for a second and decided to use the name he had when he was dreaming about killing his dream wife. “Jeff Delgado, what’s your name?”
“They call me “Greezy”, like in “Greezy” pig.”
“I think it’s “Greasy” actually” Melvin replied.
“No shit,” Greezy replied, pulled the hose nozzle from the bus and returned it to the pump. “Want the job?”
    “Absolutely,” Melvin replied.
“Good, now go on the bus, and grab that trash can full of used pussy pads sitting behind my driver’s seat and through them the fuck out. The smell makes me gag.”
“They change their pads on the bus? Is there a bathroom on this thing?” Melvin asked.
“Yep, and your next job is to empty the shit basin as soon as I can locate an RV park with the right hookups.”
Greezy punched a key on the gas pump and a receipt slid out. He ripped off the paper and shoved it in his walled next to a stack of gas receipts. “Oh, and one more thing. Working with a bunch of porn stars may seem glamorous, but it isn’t. Most of the time they fight and bitch and fight and bitch. When they aren’t fighting and bitching, they are planning on fighting and bitching so be careful. They aren’t here to fuck you, they’re here to make money before their tits sag too much and have to get real jobs. So watch yourself. Don’t get too close to any of them. They will try to get you to take sides and if you do, you’re fucked. And not in the good way.”

Chapter 9
The Tasty Nipple
Early evening and the light was fading on this Saturday night at the Tasty Nipple strip club, bar and grill. Melvin, sporting his “Event Staff, Security” shirt took notice of a group of women protesting on the sidewalk, carrying signs and decided to see what was up. With the remains of a pulled pork sandwich in his hand that he had paid for with cash he stole off the bus, he pushed open the front door and stepped out into the cool evening air trying to read the words on the signs the women were holding. One sign read, “Women are not objects,” another read, “Boobs are for babies” and a third read, “Put some clothes on you stupid bitch, you’re making us
