take you out” he shook his head a bit impressed
I think “no seriously academic subject?” I liked teasing him
“Geography I guess that’s the one I got top grades for” he was suitably impressed
“That’s a useful knowledge in the hotel trade.5; what car would you like to drive?” he really was a
blokes bloke!
“Aston Martin Vanquish or an Audi R8” he was happy with that but I was starting to yawn and my
eyes felt heavy
“6; hot holiday or sightseeing adventure?”
“Hot” I was gone pain killers, warmth and darkness a fatal combination for a head injury, I was
vaguely aware of him stripping off and climbing in behind me he wrapped an arm around me and
nuzzled into my neck
“you owe me three in the morning” I mumbled a response then drifted off in his embrace, it was a
lovely way to sleep.
Chapter 9
The sound of voices and the smell of pancakes woke me up, I felt almost human this morning so I
put on Morgan's robe and ventured into the living room. Mrs Flint was in there with him and they
both stopped talking when they saw me
“Good morning you two sorry did I interrupt something?” Mrs Flint beamed at me
“no Jenna we were just talking about next week, the Ambassador is returning and wants you to
spend the week with him entertaining his wife and showing her the sights, it’s such an honour” I
caught the wary look on Morgan's face, there was no way I would be allowed to wander around
the city while there were people out to kill me, I smiled to reassure him
“Mrs Flint I am sure something can be sorted I should be feeling well enough by Monday and you
are correct it is an honour” she smiled happily then bustled out of the room. I turned to him
“Don't say a word Drake I know it’s not going to happen but it’s what Friday today? We have a
weekend to work something out, maybe I can stay in the hotel with Roberto and we could get Kate
to accompany his wife Maria on outings?” he looked relieved that I was being sensible for once
“yes that could work, now about this weekend, I need to shoot over to Barcelona I want to take
you, we will take security with us and stay at the Drakes hotel before you object there is a reason”
he paused while I took a mouthful of pancake
“My parents want to come across and meet you, Olivia too how would you feel about that?” I
swallowed hard and thought about it my stomach rolling at the idea of meeting his family
“I suppose I should at some point but it terrifies me I have to admit” he sat opposite me at the
table staring as I tucked away 3 pancakes with Maple Syrup, his eyes glazed over as he studied me
then suddenly he spoke
“Question 7; what is your favourite food?” I gulped he hadn't forgotten I fell asleep at number 6!
“Definitely any seafood pasta as long as it is with garlic chilli and olive oil ,” he smiled at me
“8; as you were home schooled did you have any friends growing up” I shook my head
“My friendships were restricted to Carmella my cousin and my brother, our cook had a daughter
Bernadette she was fun but other than those two none” he looked sad for me but actually I hadn't
felt hard done to with all our varied hobbies, the stables and tennis courts we were never bored.
“And finally question 10; why me?” I stopped eating and licked my fingers noticing Morgan
immediately drawn to my mouth
“ you are kind, intelligent, warm, caring, driven, confidant and the most gorgeous looking man I
have ever met” he grabbed my hand and sucked some of the syrup off my fingers, I groaned it was
so erotic he pulled me to my feet and picked me up in his arms carefully and carried me back to
bed
“lie back and don't move a muscle” he stripped naked in front of me, he was so muscular and sexy
I was trembling with anticipation, my breathing was ragged and I was sure drool was running from
my mouth. He pulled off my silk bottoms in one move leaving me bare before him, his fingers
trailed upwards to the apex of my thighs
