Fiona couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw Jax Becker for the first time. He was tall, dark, handsome and unbelievably sexy. Nothing like what you’d expect an FBI agent to look like. She didn’t know it at the time, but Jax was anything but a traditional FBI agent, in fact, he was downright dangerous.

    Fiona

The flashing lights of the club overwhelmed her. Ducking into the ladies room, Fiona Wright gazed at herself dressed in a tight black spandex dress with cut outs on the side. Her 5 inch heels were sparkling silver and they made her feet ache. She ran her hands through her long blonde hair. Whipping a tube of pink gloss out of her handbag, she closed her eyes briefly.
When her friend, Jasmine asked her to go out tonight she’d blown her off. Fiona usually worked ten hour days as a personal assistant to Skylar Manning, a high powered hedge fund manager. He was, quite simply, an asshole. He was controlling, manipulative, and a cheat. Fiona loathed him, but the money she earned working for him outweighed her distaste for him.
So when Jasmine came racing into her office at 7 pm holding a gorgeous black designer dress for her to wear, she had had no choice but to agree to go.
Now she stood in the ladies’ room, her head pounding from the loud music and the flashing lights. The door flew open and two girls stumbled inside giggling uncontrollably grasping each other’s hands. As the door shut, the two girls began passionately kissing each other, their hands roaming each other’s bodies. Fiona turned away ready to tell Jasmine the night was over for her.
Walking out onto the dance floor, Fiona made her way through a tangle of writhing bodies. The acrid smell of sweat and alcohol overwhelmed her. It was no use there were too many people for her to locate Jasmine. Making her way to the bar, Fiona tossed her handbag down.
“What can I get you, sexy?” The young handsome bartender winked at Fiona.
“Anything strong.” She smiled warily at him. He was hot, but Fiona wasn’t in the mood to hook up with a mere bartender. She’d had her share of low rent boyfriends. At 26, she was thinking of meeting a career oriented guy.
“How about this? If you’re looking to get hammered fast, this should do the trick.” The bartender placed a tall glass with ice splashed with an amber colored liquid in it on the bar. Then he poured a shot glass full of a dark liquid next to it.
    “What is it?”
“Shot of Jack Daniels Fire and regular Jack and coke. Should fuck you up fast if that’s what you’re wanting. If you can’t make it home, I’ll drive you.” The bartender stared at her sizable cleavage peeking out from her revealing dress.
Fiona shrugged and threw back the shot. Immediately, she dissolved into fit of coughing.
“What the hell? That’s really strong.” She reached for the tall glass and sipped it slowly.
“Nice job, Marc. Is this the only way you can get laid by getting innocent sexy girls drunk?”
Fiona spun around to see a tall, dark haired man with gorgeous blue eyes standing next to her. His broad chest obvious in his tight black t shirt his biceps bulged attractively. He wasn’t huge, but very well-muscled. His jeans were tight on his perfect ass and Fiona felt herself clench below.
“No, Jax, I get plenty of pussy on my own. Now why don’t you either order a drink or get the fuck out of my bar?” The bartender glared at him as he was wiping shot glasses.
“Sounds like a great idea. I’ll have what she’s having.”
Quickly, the bartender mixed up the drink and slammed it down in front of him.
Jax pulled a wad of bills out of his back pocket. Peeling a few bills off the top, he tossed them down at the bartender.
Smashing his fist atop the bills, the bartender cast another hateful glance at Jax.
Snickering, Jax threw back the shot with ease. He turned to smile at Fiona.
“So, how long has Marc been giving you trouble?”
Just looking into his mesmerizing eyes was
