“Seriously, you need to get out more Kathy.”
“Oh I will, I just have all these bills to catch up on.” I told Tina.
“Working doubles six days a week isn’t enough?” She asked incredulously.

The truth of the matter was, I was finally caught up.  I was still working at a frantic pace to save for a move.  I’d been stuck in Sioux Falls, South Dakota ever since my 17 th birthday, when I left home with my boyfriend against my parents objections.  Boyfriend?  I think I just puked in my mouth some.  As soon as we got out here, he ran out on me with a waitress and left me to fend for myself.

Because I wanted to wait for marriage.

God, what an idiot I am, right?  Now?  There were no men around that I wanted to date, let alone let them take my virginity.

“No, not usually.  I need another month of this and I can slow down.” I told her, smiling as I dried the rocks glasses.
“So you work at this bar, sometimes twelve to fifteen hours a day, and it isn’t enough?  When do you have time to meet guys?”
“I meet guys all the time.” I was whining, but I didn’t care.
“That’s not the same.  Hurry, let’s go get the last of the dishes from last call, we might get out of here on time for once.”

I just nodded and followed her out of the back room.  She was right; I was probably burning the candle at both ends, and for what?  I really didn’t have a plan on where to go, or what I would do for work once I got to… wherever.  I was bored with life, and saving for another, but I still didn’t know what I wanted.  Actually, that’s a lie, I want what I denied Brian when we moved out here, and I want it bad, just not with these locals.

I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror as I was passing the bar and liked what I saw, even after ten hours in this sweatbox.  My 21 year old body was curvy, and although my black curls in my hair weren’t as tight as I made them this morning, I looked good.  Tired, yes.  Bored, for sure… But if I was a guy, I’d do me.  I just wanted somebody to wrap my legs around and…

The bell over the front door jingled, and I looked at the clock over the bar in annoyance.  Damn, I still had 15 minutes until last call.  We rarely got business this late, but when we did, it was usually Tina and I who stuck around afterwards, Jay always having ‘something’ to do.  I saw an nine forms in black leather and colorful ink walk into the bar behind me, their voices boisterous, but constant.  I spun around to face them, my back to the bar, when several of them stopped dead behind me, slapping each other on the chest and pointing.  Oh… like that, is it?

“Evening guys, what can I get you for last call?” I asked, knowing damn well I was fifteen minutes early, but the smell of exhaust, leather and motor oil told me all I needed to know about these guys.

Bikers, nine of them to be exact.  I directed this to the alpha leader of this small clan, everybody looking to him to answer my question.  GULP! To say we don’t get men like this around here would be an understatement.  His leather vest was open, and he wasn’t wearing a shirt underneath.  His well defined chest and stomach muscles were enough to make me swoon, and the ink he had all over his exposed skin made me suddenly want to trace the ink lines with my fingers.  I followed one tattoo on his stomach down, as it snaked into his pants.  DOUBLE GULP!   He caught me looking and I blushed furiously.  The fact that he had 5 o’clock shadow that matched his dark black hair and amazing blue eyes was the icing on the cake.  Serious hotness!

Now don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against bikers, but most of them are fat grizzled old men; at least the ones that visit this bar.  Not these guys.  Each of them was muscled, and god damned hot!  Any one of these guys could have been the cover model for some dirty reading material, but the leader of the biker’s
