What surprised Ryder, as Casey got closer to him, was the weird arousal he began to feel and the urge to tear Casey into shreds.
“What the hell,” Sissy muttered, tugging him back several feet. “I can smell the anger coming off of you.”
Ryder curled his hands into fists and tried his best not to lunge at Casey and hurt him. Fear coalesced with the anger, making him nauseous. Was he like Drake after all, evil inside? He had no reason to want to harm Casey, yet it was all he could do to keep himself from attacking the man.
