the day progressed, I found it rather disturbing that she was so far away from me. I stood up and walked over to where she was sitting on the couch and ran my hand up her leg as I sat down beside her. She looked my way before looking back at the television. “You don’t have to do that.”
    “Do what?”
“Be all touchy feely since we slept together. I know what it was and I don’t have any inclinations to make me think it was anything more.”
What the hell? “ Seriously, I’m not an asshole like that.”
She smiled and ran her hand up my arm. “Bastian, I’d like us to be friends. The benefit part would be up to you, of course.”
I leaned my head back against the couch and laughed. “Sounds cool to me.”
Alex leaned in close to my face. I could feel her hot breath against my skin. “Don’t get all creepy on me though. I mean, I like you, but I’m not ever going to ask you for a ring or anything.”
I’d never met anyone like this girl before. I didn’t want to say she was a straight up slut, because that just sounded bad, but she was something. “Yeah, I think I can be cool about it. So, do we make rules or something?”
She brushed her lips against mine and pulled away. “How about we fuck whenever we want and hang out sometimes too?”
I pulled away and smiled. This was every man’s dream. “You sure you aren’t fucking with me? You’re really being serious right now, aren’t you?”
She laughed and stuck out her tongue to drag it across my closed mouth. “I never joke about fucking.” She kissed me softly and looked over at the clock. “You better get going. I wouldn’t want the parental unit catching us like this.”
“So, when will I see you?” She told me not to get all weird and here I was doing just that. Leave it to me to fuck it up before it could be cool enough to smile about.
“I’ll see you in class, silly.” She stretched and sprawled her body out on the long sectional. “I’m going to take a nap. Just see yourself out, would you?”
If I had a tail, it would have been between my damn legs. I walked out of there like I was so ashamed for what I’d done. I got halfway down the road and pulled over because I couldn’t stop laughing. “Holy shit, I just banged a chick in her ass and she liked it!”
Yeah, I was talking to myself, but come on, who wouldn’t?
When I finally calmed down enough to drive the rest of the way home, I stopped at a drive-thru and grabbed something to eat. I assume that with all the sex I had worked up an appetite. When I walked into the apartment, my roomies were laughing. I held my arms up in the air. “What?” Was this some candid camera thing? Did they set me up today with Alex?
“Where you been all day?” My buddy Mark asked.
I smiled, but didn’t disclose any information. “I had shit to do.”
“Yeah, well, we left you a surprise in your room, bud. Have fun with that!”
I looked at Mark and laughed. “Yeah, whatever.” I wanted a long shower and to crash. I never thought I could possibly be oversexed in my lifetime, but that is exactly what I was.
Nothing, and I mean nothing, could have prepared me for what I saw when I walked into my room. My ex, Karrie, was spread out on top of my bed. She had the movie Varsity Blues playing and had covered herself in whipped cream and cherries. She bit down on her lip and smiled. “Long time no see.”
You gotta be fucking kidding me?
“Karrie, what are you doing here?” I was trying to ignore the fact that she was naked under that whipped cream.
“I missed you. I got some time off from school and I came to see you first. Aren’t you glad to see me?” She put out her lip and pretended to pout. Man, she was hot.
I sat on the edge of the bed and leaned down to kiss her lips. Damn, it made me feel so bad for my actions earlier. I don’t know why. Karrie and I were broken up. I wasn’t cheating. “I
