Susan?”
Lilliana sighed in frustration, “She may be required to
protect you physically, but she’s also here as a spy. I know it, and I don’t
trust her.”
I nodded, “I agree we should keep some information from her,
like the women I have pacts with to have my children, those are too sensitive
and I won’t have them known. Otherwise, I don’t really care what she tells
Darren. I’m not working against any other races, and am just doing my own
thing. I trust her to keep me safe, the rest of it doesn’t matter.”
Lilliana hugged me tight, “Alright, I’ll try to get along
with her better. I just… I don’t like that she has split loyalties. I can
work with her though, and no doubt sleep with her.”
I raised an eyebrow and she laughed, “I can smell it on both
of you, you’ve both been wanting to fuck from the moment you met. Although,
cat shifter, so it’s not all that surprising.”
“What does that mean exactly?” I asked, feeling a tinge of
concern.
Lilliana tilted her head in thought, “They’re genetic sluts.
They can remain faithful to a single man, but only a mate, and only if the mate
takes care of them often enough. Before that they are very… free with their
favors. Still choosy though, they usually find and seduce the most attractive
available.”
I frowned and she added, “I’m not judging, it’s just a
fact. I doubt she was ordered to seduce you, I’m sure it was just expected, a
given.”
I slapped her ass, “Alright, let’s go so I can kick your
ass.”
She snorted, “I think you hit your head too hard yesterday
Shawn, I didn’t know you were susceptible to delusions.”
I grabbed her hand and said, “Wait, do you know why Malina
is in such a good mood today?”
She tilted her head, “Yes, but why not ask her yourself?”
I frowned, “I guess I should, never mind.”
Truthfully, I just thought it might be one of those things
that would end if it was mentioned. If that made sense? I was overthinking
it.
She teased, “Of course master.”
I gave her a look for the not so subtle reminder, but she
just smiled impudently.
It hadn’t gone according to plan, Lilliana went first,
perhaps to show Susan just where I was in my training. Still, I’d only hit the
wall twice, and of course I never lost my shield, since all I had in my main
mind this time was the partition spell. It almost felt like cheating, and I
found myself annoyed with John, even though that was ridiculous. A day of me
doing this was worth a man’s soul.
Susan and I were circling each other. She moved with grace
and power, and reminded me of Lilliana that way, except she moved differently
as well. More like she stalked me. She also had a feral smile on her face as
we measured each other. I didn’t have the practice sword any more, this was
going to be hand to hand. It’s how shifters fought, either that or they used claws
after the shift.
Susan lowered her eyes a bit and licked her lips like she
saw something very tasty, “How can you defend from my attacks like that? Won’t
it be too… hard?” she asked suggestively as she looked at my package.
I frowned and looked down, I wasn’t hard at… Bam!
She took me down hard in a tackle, flipped me and somehow my
head ended up between her legs. I was staring right at her crotch, and could
make out her camel toe though the yoga pants. I was pretty sure she didn’t
have panties on. I could also feel the physical shield fight it as she
squeezed her legs tightly.
“Lesson one, don’t be distracted by a pretty face.”
She grinned and released me. Of course, when I stood up I actually was hard at that point.
I increased the flow of Malina’s magic and moved forward.
She was obviously moving at half the speed she was capable of, but still
managed to throw me like it was nothing, and I bounced on the mat.
She smiled, “Not bad, at least you know how to land. You’ll
get better, but
