scent of candles and the heady musk of sex. The sound of
ragged breathing from both of them was all that could be heard. How could he
explain such powerful feelings?
"Fuck that was incredible," Frank finally said.
Those few words didn't even come close, yet it was all he
could think of to say. It would have to do.

13. Connection
Frank picked Wendy up off her knees,
drawing her to her feet and kissing her. Wrapping his arms around her, he felt
her whole body melt against him. What words couldn’t express, maybe the
intimacy of a kiss could. Frank wasn't sure how long they embraced, but while
their kiss was passionate, it wasn't sexual.
"I really love you, you know
that?" Frank said when he pulled away from her.
Wendy was crying, emotional girl that
she was. She was also smiling, so that was okay. Frank curled her into him
again, caressing and calming. She wasn't a small woman; it was just that he was
so much bigger.
"I'm so lucky to have you,
honey," he said.
Those tears flowed faster and her weeping
got louder. He tipped her chin up. "Now what is going on? You're happy,
right?"
Wendy's breath hitched and she said,
"I'm really happy."
Frank laughed, swept her up into his
arms and stood up. What man could fully understand a woman? He figured that women
must have some emotional gene that men just didn't have. Frank took her over to
the bed and lay her down gently, handing her a box of tissues. Tracks of tears
ran down her cheeks.
Smiling down at her, he began to
undress, taking everything off and sliding on to the bed with her, pulling her
on top of his chest. He patted and soothed and let her finish crying.
    "Better?" He said when she
seemed to have exhausted her astonishing supply of tears.
    Wendy nodded.
"Are you able to explain why you're
crying?" he said, his lips curling in a wry smile. Wendy sniffed and blew
her nose. Frank's smile got larger. Damn she was adorable.
"It is just…I just have really
missed this, Frank," she said. "This intimacy. I don't really
understand how it slipped away from us. I couldn’t be happier right now. I feel
so connected."
They had a long discussion then. Frank admitted
how he had gravitated toward internet X rated sites almost daily, and pay channel
porn when he was away on business trips. He also told her about masturbating in
the shower. The long term undisclosed fantasy of being sucked off with her
swallowing came into discussion, and Wendy said that she had enjoyed it.
She loved it because he loved it.
He didn’t think he would like spanking
her, but he did because she did.
    A philosophical discussion ensued about
right and wrong, and good and bad, and things to be ashamed of, and things to
be feel guilty about. Could anything carried out between two consensual adults
be wrong? And why should they be embarrassed by something a loving partner
wanted to try? Right then they made a pact to never lie to each other, and to
live out their sexual fantasies together.
Was it easier to be truthful about such
things to strangers? Frank didn't think so. If two intelligent, loving, and
happily married people couldn't be honest with each other about their most
hidden sexual desires, then who could?
Frank didn’t know if he was technically
a Dom, but he definitely enjoyed dominating her. Wendy didn’t know if she was
genuinely submissive, but she certainly loved submitting to him.
"Arms over your head now, and spread those legs,"
Frank ordered, remembering the exact words from one of those books of hers. He
wanted to go down on her now, and make her climax some more.
Wendy did as she was ordered. Frank kissed and licked his
way down her body. He spread her legs further and gave her clit the first lash
of his tongue.
"Frank!" she cried out, tensing and pulling her
legs together.
    "What?"
Wendy didn't answer immediately and Frank said, "No
secrets, baby, what's the matter?"
"Maybe I should have a shower first," she said tentatively.
Frank laughed. Wasn't that just like
