about to answer when I spotted a little fluffy creature rolling in the grass by Hannah.
“Yep, be right back.” My eyes were glued to the little baby tiger having fun with some small toy.
“Cammy, nice to see you again.” Hannah’s sweet voice called out to me.
“Yes! It feels like it’s been so long,” I joked, then went down on my knees by the little cub.
“She is adorable.” I wanted to pet her but realized that I knew nothing about baby tigers. I doubted that they were like sweet little kittens that would curl up on your lap while you petted them.
“That she is. She’s our little trooper.”  Hannah smiled at the cub and took a sip out of her red Solo cup.
“What’s her story? Every animal here has one, or so I’m learning.” I sat there as Hannah told me Casey’s story.  A man was looking to make some money, so he travelled around the U.S. to festivals or big parties, and accepted cash in exchange for people having their picture made with a tiger cub. They could pet her, handle her how they pleased, and pose for the camera. He made a lot, sadly. Poor little Casey had been ripped away from her mother and thrown into the world of “cub petting,” as I learned that it was actually called that. He fed her, and housed her, but not like he should have. She got sick because she was like a newborn and had no real immune system yet. Thankfully, before he could sell her off, kill her, or God knows what else, the State stepped in and she was brought to the rescue. Hannah, her husband, and Jake took personal care of her, alternating weeks because she still required nighttime feedings. She was eleven months old and soon would be big enough that she wouldn’t need milk anymore. They’ve only had her for four weeks now and she was happy and at home.
“But she has gotten sick once since she’s been here. When that happens we have to monitor her closely so she doesn’t get worse.”  Hannah ended her story.  Poor baby Casey.
“I know this sounds stupid to say, but does she bite you?” I had to know.
“Oh, yes. She used to not know how her teeth would hurt, but she has learned to be gentle.”  She demonstrated by putting her hand in the tiger’s mouth, which she opened for but didn’t try and take her fingers off. Interesting.
The tiger yawned, and laid across Hannah’s feet and relaxed. Sleep was probably going to overtake her soon.
“So, Cammy, what brings you here to help out at a place like this?” Hannah asked nicely. The only reason I was here was because I lost a bet to Jake, instead of helping for the cause of the animals, which made me sort of feel bad. But I was not one to regret anything, so I told her the truth.
“Jake and I made a bet, he won, and I’m here for the week. Not sure what help I will be; as you can probably tell, I’m not a hard labor type of girl. But I’m always up to try new things.” It was the best answer I could give. I looked around and saw Jake looking at me. His blue eyes melted another layer I had built up against him. He did so much. Everyone around him was smiling and having a great time.
“He’s a good man. Needs to settle down, though.” Subtle much? I looked back at Hannah to see her watching me watching Jake.  Unsure of what else to say, I stood up.
“He’s all right.” I winked and strode off toward the man of the hour.
“Happy birthday. I didn’t know I was getting the honor of being in your presence on your birthday. I am so humbled,” I teased.  The two people that were talking to him struck up a conversation between themselves so it was like Jake and I were alone.
“Best birthday gift a man could ask for,” he uttered as he stuck his finger in his mouth. Oh God.
I felt like Oprah, handing out gifts to everyone. You get an orgasm, you get an orgasm, everyone gets an orgasm! Mini-orgasms were happening everywhere just by him sucking the remnants of my wetness off his damn
