bathroom door when Julian opened it from the other side.

“I told you to stay in here until I was done,” he muttered as if he’d read her mind and knew what she was about to do.

“I heard them leave, so I figured it was safe to come out.” She smiled, and he fought the temptation to kiss her. Instead, he swept her up in his arms and took her back to the bedroom.

Heaven gasped as they went into the room. In the time that she’d relaxed in the tub, Julian and his cousins had managed to turn the room into a movie theatre. There were movie posters in illuminated frames, the largest television she had ever seen and surround sound stereo. There were two black leather, movie theater chairs with thick cushions. They each had a matching footstool. The chairs looked like they were big enough to fit giants. There was even a popcorn machine and a soda fountain.

“How did you manage this?” she asked in awe.

“I had them bring it up from the theater.”
“I love it.” She kissed his cheek as he sat her down in the chair.

“It’s the least I can do since I’m forcing you to sit still.”

“You did this for me?” she asked. Although she knew the answer, she wanted to hear him say it.

“Of course I did.” He gave her the answer she wanted, and followed it with a soft kiss.

“Thank you.” She felt the warmth of his kiss spread across her face and drip down her chest to settle at the core of her vagina. “What movie did you get?”

“ The Baby Doll Murders .”

“You’re kidding me? I never had a chance to watch that,” she exclaimed excitedly.

Ayden King had been working on that case when she interned. It was a high-profile case, and Heaven had helped him significantly. She was excited to see the case she had worked so hard on portrayed on the screen. She suddenly jumped up, wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

Julian couldn’t stop himself from kissing her back. Her body felt so good pressed against his; he was having trouble gaining control. He let out a deep sigh of relief when she pulled back to look at him.

“Thank you,” she whispered against his lips before lightly kissing them again.

Don’t do it! If you kiss her again, you’ll fuck her. Once you fuck her, you’ll never stop fucking her! You’ve been deprived of her for too long to think rationally, man! he tried to rationalize with himself as his erection began to cloud his good judgment.

“You’re welcome.” He pulled back from her, trying to prevent another kiss.

“I was afraid it would be something pornographic,” she joked.

“I don’t have any pornography.” He grabbed one of the pillows from the bed and laid it in the chair. He helped her sit down and then grabbed her small, red, cashmere blanket.

“Bullshit,” she said as she pulled the silky material to her waist.

“I got rid of it.” He wished she would pull the blanket up to her chin.

She was in utter shock. “Why? When?”

“The day I realized that you stimulate me more than porn ever could. I’d rather watch you than watch that shit. Just watching you walk across the room is enough for me. The way your breasts bounce with each step and the way your hips sway under the fabric of your clothes drives me to a frenzy. Even arguing with you is more stimulating.”

Enough sex talk, Julian! Have you lost your mind? he chastised himself.

“Really?” she raised her brow, finding that hard to believe.

    “Really.”

“You’d rather argue with me than watch porn?” She didn’t believe him.

“Yes. Arguing with you is like foreplay. Arguing with me is the only time you break your poker face. I love to watch you get mad. The color of your eyes change, your body tenses and even your nipples get hard.”

    “They do not.”

“Yes, they do. You’re lucky I didn’t notice that before the contract, when we didn’t get along. I would
