and thought about what he had said. She knew that something was happening between them but she had never come across this before. She was having feelings that she hadn’t had before. Even for her sore excuse of a husband. She had thought she had loved him but it was not even in the same universe as these feelings.
She was afraid of the intensity of them but at the same time excited. She made a decision, one she hoped she would not live to regret, and stood up. “Can I have a shower to clean up? Then, you could possibly show me your room? If that’s okay?” She spoke quietly and she blushed – again. God that was the third time in twenty-four hours.
Zach smiled, got up and took her through to his room, picking up her case on the way. His room was at the rear of the property and he sat her case on top of an old wooden chest in the corner.
“ Wait a minute.” He went back through the door and reappeared with a small bag containing a selection of toiletries. Ones for a woman – shampoo, shower gel, etcetera. She raised an eyebrow and he laughed. “Not what you think, meine Kleine, the friend I asked to get the Jack Daniels – well he’s bonded and his mate thought you might like these. She put them together.”
She was touched by the thoughtfulness. “You’ll have to introduce me to them. I would like to say thank you. I totally forgot toiletries, I think I remembered my toothbrush though.” She got her toothbrush out and made her way into the bathroom.
“Oh – what was that foreign thing you said?” she asked.
He smiled his answer. “Meine Kleine? It means ‘my little one’ in German. Towels are in the cupboard to the side of the shower,” Zach added as he walked out of the room.
The bathroom was lovely. It had the largest shower she had ever come across. More than big enough for the both of them, she thought. She stepped in and started to wash her hair. It was so curly and unruly she never knew what to do with it, so she just washed it, used some mousse and let it do its own thing.
She took a little more time than was necessary as she gratefully used the lady shaver in the toiletries Zach had given her. She shaved her legs and other necessary regions.
She was extremely nervous but also very excited. She couldn’t believe the changes in such a short time. She wasn’t dreaming? Was she? She bloody well hoped not, she laughed. Well the part with Zach she meant. She didn’t relish what was to come regarding the other stuff.
When she had finished and went back into the bedroom, Zach was just coming back into the room. He only had a towel wrapped around his waist and he was towelling dry his hair.
He had obviously used the other en suite. Oh my! Alex couldn’t stop looking at him. He looked as if he had been carved from granite. She couldn’t believe this person was truly interested in her.
Though he definitely seemed sincere and going by the bulge in the front of his towel she thought that, yes, he was! Her eyes raised to look at his face and God she couldn’t get over just how gorgeous he was. His eyes had quite a bit of shine to them too so he couldn’t hide his arousal. Even if she hadn’t noticed the bulge.

Zach was so worked up he thought he would explode. He truly had not gone through this before. He was so turned on it was uncomfortable.
Alexina stood there in a large fluffy towel with her wild mane of curls surrounding her face. He wondered what her hair would feel like on his ... arousal.
God he wanted to kiss her. She must have read his mind because she walked over, slowly, and then went on her tiptoes, pulled his head down and kissed him, deeply. Zach picked her up, she weighed next to nothing, and carried her towards the bed.
Her breathing picked up. Whether in arousal or nerves he wasn’t sure but he was going to make sure she would never leave him. He would make her feel the most loved person on the planet. He gently laid her down on her back and broke the kiss. He
