    Monster jumped off the ladder and walked up, a gun clearly visible in the holster under his arm. “Jack’s cousin, formerly known as the secret boyfriend,” he told her.

    Loki opened his mouth, but something about Monster’s flat expression made him stay quiet. They looked at one another for a long moment, but it was Loki who lost the contest and turned around, dragging his ass back toward the lounge in the main courtyard.
